Thanks for the ROM, thay I have just installed.

I am trying to say to Outlook to save the attached documents in the Card, but when I mark this option in the configuration of Outlook, it says that there is no Card un-blocked.

The card is in and I can surf in it with File explorer, so the Triny see the Card.

Any sugestion?

Yes have GPS and all work very good, the videocall good, the GPS good, the BT very good with my parrot car, I'm happy with this ROM, but I liked more the WM6.

Con el WM6 es mejor pero es que lleva no se cuantos problemas. Por mi parte, tengo la ultima en frances. El bluetooth y la bateria es una tortura cada dia.... El resto es verdad que va bien, rapido y muy bien de presentacion y todo.

hi.. im very happy with this version but im afraid by the battery drain ive read in several wm6 posts...

in wm5 my battery life is about 5 days with normal phone use and a little of diary wifi so im very happy with this perfomance.

First of all congratz for the great work on the spanish translation of WM6 :)

The problem we got with BBC is that BBConnect software uses some kind of version checking from the rom, that doesn't come correctly on most Trinity firmwares.

I've been trying to make it run with different ROMs, and the only one that works for me is RUU_Trinity_DOPODASIA_WWE_1.23.707.6_6275_1.35.00. 11_108_Ship (http://rapidshare.com/files/16675831/RUU_Trinity_DOPODASIA_WWE_1.23.707.6_6275_1.35.00. 11_108_Ship.exe)

I already posted the addres of another post that talks about that problem, and how to fix it on a rom first of flashing it. Unfortunatly it's very technical, and impossible for normal users. It would be great if someone that knows how to do it patch WM6 and publish it ;) And most interesting would be to keep that fix for furthers versions.

just one item prohibiting the use of wm6 es:

all pgms bur one do recognize my memory card sd 2 gb. outlook does not. when trying to set "attachments to store card" outlook reports wrong free and total disk space. with 400 mb left free outlook reports about 9 Mb free. then it says that it is write protected.

anybody with the same issue?

the storecard contains tt6 map 700 mb, fotos and videos, and 400 mb of attachments.

i need this for work.

any ideas?

Yes is hapends to me the same. I found one solution! Using trinity hack program I disabled the ext-ROM. After restart everithing worked fine.

Thanks. I've tried to activate and deactivate Flight Mode but nothing. I've also tried to install TTM in the internal and the memory card. Both doesn't work.

I'm having big problems with battery drain. Much moore than with your previous ROM. in Idle use goes up to 110 mA. The previous never goes more than 80mA. With a conversation can go up to 400mA.

he conseguido hacerlo funcionar,pero en inglés,solo hay que renombrar el archivo que encontraremos en windows despues de instalar el CAB de:

algun alma caritativa que traduzca o nos diga como se puede hacer???

Hello everybody, i´m really desperate...
I´m trying to make my gps run...
and i´m trying to update to wm6.

With gps i don´t know what i have to do... i have follow everything i have seen!

with wm6... i have downloaded the file, i connect p3600 to my pc with activesync, i run ROMUpdateUtility.exe from my pc, i wait until it finish 100%... and later i turn on the p3600 and it still got wm5!!

Have you HardSPL your trinity? If not... Take a look to the hardspl post in trinity-> upgrading. In fact you need to make a flash with RUU in HardSPL.zip.

I don´t know how... but the problem is solved.
My p3600 got freezed in the bootloader, if i turned it on it didn´t load the rom... I couldn´t hard-spl it, when it was going to copy the files it reboot... so i install de wm5 spanish official and later wm6... and it worked! And know I don´t have the vodafone initial logo, i have the HTC logo... great!

As I have about 400 MB in attachmentes that I need for work, I need this function urgently. Will there be any chance to get WM6 ES outlook to work with storrage cards as WM6 UK does? I hope so, because I really wanted to use WM6 ES.

The solution to storage the attached files in the card is to make the Extended ROM not visible and reachable. After that go to Options in mail box and mark “Almacenar datos adjuntos en esta tarjeta, si esta disponible”

Esto ya es el truco. Inicia update, pda llega hasta tricolor screen, y el bootloader ya está activo. De algun modo el update soft no lo reconoce y te sale el error. Deja el PDA tal y como está, en tricolor. Aborta el update y arrancalo de nuevo, contestando todo. Luego funciona.

hola. I used a program called Trinity Hack. Among other options has the posibilities of hide or show Ext Rom. Extrem care with performance options, in my case, they caused instability. Use only The rom option and remember to restart.

OJO: PARA OCULTAR LA ROM HAS DE HACER JUSTO LO CONTRARIO DE LO QUE SE DICE EN EL TRUCO

ABRIENDO LA EXTENDED_ROM (9,5 MB EXTRAS ALMACENAMIENTO)


La EXTENDED_ROM es una parte especial de la memoria en la que el fabricante ha colocado una serie de programas que se instalan cada vez que hacemos un HARD-RESET, y que añaden funcionalidades especiales a nuestra máquina.

Tiene un tamaño reservado de 9,9 MB, pero en realidad sólo unos pocos KB están ocupados (0,40 MB), quedando el resto desaprovechados (concretamente unos 9,50 MB).

Hay varias formas de acceder y usar la EXTENDED_ROM (por ejemplo con el TotalCommander se puede acceder directamente), pero si quieres que aparezca en el explorador de archivos como una unidad más, y utilizarla con cualquier explorador, entonces hay que "mostrarla".

PARA ABRIR / MOSTRAR la EXTENDED ROM:

1) Vamos a la LLAVE de ruta: HKLM\System\StorageManager\Profiles\EXT_FLASHDRV

2) Y al DWORD de nombre MountHidden le daremos unvalor de 0 (1 por defecto)


PARA ABRIR / MOSTRAR / ALMACENAR en la EXTENDED_ROM:

1) Vamos a la LLAVE de ruta: HKLM\System\StorageManager\Profiles\EXT_FLASHDRV

2) Y al DWORD de nombre MountHidden le daremos unvalor de 0 (1 por defecto)

PRECAUCION:

Cuando abras la EXTENDED_ROM lo primero y mejor que puedes hacer es una COPIA DE SEGURIDAD de su contenido. NO BORRES NADA salvo que sepas lo que haces, y tengas la seguridad de que lo quieres hacer.
No se deben instalar aplicaciones en la EXTENDED_ROM. Usadla sólo para almacenamiento de archivos.

Y tener muy en cuenta que cada vez que hagamos un Soft-reset, perderemos los archivos que tengamos en ella almacenados, reapareciendo los originales de la EXTENDED ROM.

Se me ocurre para el tema de los MMS.....

¿Es posible que sea un error de carpetas y por eso detecta la entrada pero no los descargue porque no sabe donde meterlos?
Es que me he dado cuenta de que en \My Documents\UAContents hay una carpeta que está en francés (creo) que se llama "modèles".

Los que sabéis de esto echarle un ojo, a ver si va a ser ese el problema.

Finally I manage to solve my problem with the white screen of dead, and I have been trying to configure the PDA to download the mails from my work. I found that for some reason this version "Wm6 Es 2.3.1" refuses loading the certificate of my company. I was thinking that maybe it was a problem of the WM6, because the certificate worked with the WM5 but after a long research I give up. Then I downloaded the "LVSW_Trinity_WM6_v2.0.1.1 (2007-05-27)" and it works fine.

Has anybody experience the same problem and find a solution?

i have bluetooth headset stereo motorola and before upgrade i haven´t problems but after upgrade i can´t listen music whit any program. ( upgrade Radio too)

when i press the sms icon on htc homeplug, and when i touch this area on phonepad, starting the start menu.




tengo un auricular stereo bluetooth que antes de actualizar la rom andaba perfecto, despues de eso no me anda bien con cualquier programa (tambien actualice la radio)


Otro problema con esta rom....

cuando presiono el icono de mensajes de texto en el plugin de htc del today, o cuando presiono el numero dos en el phonepad (aleatoriamente) se abre el menu INICIO. (sin tener instalado ni el wisbar, ni ningun otro plugin de la barra de tareas).

But I think that the problem with MMS were in the assistan configurator from HTC, I've configured manually the service with manuals for the Qtek S200 and works perfect. Try to do this in 2.3.1.

Only with Ilauncher 3.0.0.5 I've a problem: Text labels in comm manager after install this program. Solved with registry editor, But now I have the classical view.
I prefer the classical view with 10 buttons (IR and VoIP) and Ilauncher than the new view without Ilauncher, I need it.
If you want to do this:
\HKLM\SOFTWARE\HTC\CommManager\DisableButtonText > change to 0 (2 by default)
Add New Key called 8 and (Dafault) > change value to IR
Add New Key called 9 and (Dafault) > change value to VoIP
at \HKLM\SOFTWARE\HTC\CommManager\ > change the value of SupportedFunctions to 10 (8 by default)
Close registry editor and softreset, afther this you'll have the classical view with 10 buttons in CommManager.

por lo que he leido ...
Solo con Ilauncher 3.0.0.5 he tenido un problema: las etiquetas de texto en el comm manager. Resuelto con el editor de registro
te ha pasado lo mismo que a mi, pero yo no se como resolverlo.
Podrias decirme que has modificado para conseguirlo, gracias.

Eso sí: ten en cuenta que ya no verás esa nueva pantalla del Comm Manager sino que volverás a la antigua de WM5; para mi no es problema. Yo prefiero mantener el Ilauncher aunque sea perdiendo esa máscara del ComManager.

Los pasos para añadir los botones de infrarrojos y VoIP puedes omitirlos si no te interesa tenerlos ahí.
Yo los he puesto porque el IR consume batería si está activado y asi puedo acceder facilmente y activarlo si lo necesito.

Amigo seri (te conozco de???? como se enteren tolgui, nemo y demás familia que les eres infiel...jeje)

Ve a la LLAVE de ruta HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Shell y al DWORD de nombre ShowTitleBarClock, le cambias el valor por 1 (por defecto 0)

Con esto cambias la batería por el reloj; luego si no quieres tampoco el reloj no tienes mas que ir a Confguración > Sistema > Reloj y alarmas y en la pestaña más eliges si quieres reloj o nada.

pero eso no me sirve del todo.
Asi quito el problema del Comm Manager, pero tengo localizado al menos otro programa con el mismo fallo, me pone el texto que le parece, es el Kabuto Japonese - English.
Lo habitual es que me aparezca un texto de tamaño grande y poca definicion, pero en alguna ocasion los mismos textos, me los pone bastante mas pequeño y con otro tipo de fuente.

Por cierto acabo de ver que al seleccionar en las propiedades de texto un tipo de letra mas pequeño, ya no me da el problema, solo que se ve muy pequeño.

Seguire mirando a ver que descubro.

Gracias tambien a Faman por esta ROM y a todo el foro por la ayuda prestada.

1) I have a Vodafone S300 with Real Mail. Somehow the emails don't want to be downloaded to my PDA. On the vodafone push server I can see them. Kind of odd. Any idea (mais???)

2) With Internet explorer I cannot surf if I am connected through Push. It connects to push server and a blank page arrives.... Probably is not a browser problem. It doesnt work with Opera either. Connecting through Wi-Fi works fine. I tried out with a Tytn and works

Yo tengo un problema con el live, con la sincronización, al darle sincronizar la primera vez todo perfecto pero después al apagar la pda ya no me deja actualizar mas la sincronización a no ser q meta el usuario y la contraseña de nuevo. También tengo problemas con el messenger ya q cuando no actualiza me conecta pero no me da a ningun contacto conectado.
Faman intenta solucionar el problema

Gracias Mecoman, pero no tengo instalado el GPRS Monitor, sino lo trae la ROM si es asi dime donde se encuentra, la utilizo con yoigo y para q todo funcione correctamente siempre q enciendo laltrinity tengo q meter el usuario y la contraseña, sino no hay manera de hechar en marcha el live con el messenger me da error de sincronización y todos los contactos desconectados al hechar en marcha el messenger.
Con WM5 me iba perrfectamente pero con todas las ROM de FAMAN me pasa lo mismo

A mi me pasa lo mismo y ademas:
Cuando hago sofreset, se me borra el historial de programas abiertos recientemente.
No me funciona el Touchflo.

¿Puede ser esto por que no se haya instalado bien la nueva ROM? Estoy pensando en hacer una re-instalacion.

¿Pensais que puede solucionar el problema, pues he oido a varios de vosotros que si os funciona el Touchflo.

He solucionado la activación de llamadas a etiquetas de voz desde el auricular BT instalando el CAB que adjunto.

A mi el Touchflo me funciona pero... Si le activo me aparece una de las tres pantallas, por ejemplo la multimedia, para pasar a la siguiente pantalla, la de los mensajes, he de cerrar la aplicación y volver a abrirla desde programas y lo mismo he de hacer para pasar a la pantalla de contactos.

¿alguno logra pasar de pantalla sin tener q dar al "ok" y volver a activar el programa?

Tengo instalado el Skype y no tengo ningún problema con él.

1) Sometimes, i cant swich on the bluetooth from COM MANAGER and i must do soft reset.

I've installed this new plug in my trinity with your rom and after changing the mui names by trinity 0C0A, is working almost properly. Only is missing one tab. I thing is the phone call one (but not sure).
With the Kaiser PDA is coming also a new comm manager and a new Phone pad, same as the touch flo but including the 3G video option.
Do you think that may be you can include them in your new Oficial ROM Windows 6 Spanish???

Do you know the spanish code language to translate it??

The vodafone splashscreen remains ¿is that ok?

i´m having some dificulties with parrot 3100, (runs, but not like i would like), and more dificulties if tomtom its running too, but i dont now if that its product of rom or not, because i flashed the 3600 just after box opened.

touchflo simply dont work.

I've tested your rom during all weekend and almost everything was OK.
I only found one problem when I lost Vodafone Spain coverage. As I have Real Mail and it's continuously checking e-mails, it crashed and I had to soft-reset my device.
TouchFLO is not working very well, and now it's just a black screen.
How can I manage to make it work?

That's the only wrong things I found.

Don´t sound .mid files in to the rings of telephone but in Windows media yes..

Thera are files in roms than not accesible in rings (timbre-Visión.wma and timbre-Estándar.wma)

How I can delete files in the ROM of the telephone? For exmples 1 video o 1 sound

No se te va a borrar nada aunq dure aproximadamente igual como si instalaras la ROM de WM6
