I just upgraded to Ivan v3 WM6 from Jwright 2.02.02
(Radio 1.15)
When receiving incoming calls, it is NOT showing any Caller ID information (name & number).
When the phone rings, a popup opens that shows only "Incoming Call"
AFTER answering the call, I can see the Caller ID info (name & number) on the phone screen.
What could be causing this? How do I fix it so that when the my phone rings, it actually shows the Caller ID info in the popup that opens?
In Jwright and DarkForcer ROM, all was OK...
PS. Voice Comand also don;t announce incoming calls....
PLS HELP, This is very important in my work, and I don't wanna change
ROM again...

No one had this problem? I don't believe it... Is it problem with
that ROM (ivan v3 bug?) or maybe something different?

haha, very funny.
I have the very same problem with Laurentius's ROM... and further trawling through the forum revealed this:

I'll miss the extended functionality of SPB PhoneSuite if it's true... but mebbe SPB folks will put out a new rev soon? Sure hope so.

and one more thing, if indeed this problem is SPB-related:

gonna try this out in a moment.
[EDIT]
true to form, it fixed the issue for me. Ahh, SPB... Exemplary support, that :D

Yes! Thank you wyrm, very much!
Uninnstaling SPB Phone Suite solved all proboem with
not displaying caller ID!
This is strange... I have been using SPB Phone Suite in
Jwright 2.02.02, and all was OK... Maybe SPB Phone Suite don't like new builds?
:p

proszę bardzo :D
anyway, you don't have to uninstall; see the link I attached, it supplies the new beta version of SPB PS that resolves this issue while retaining everything else.
Although, I admit, uninstalling does fix the problem, too :p

Yeah, I am moving the same way as you, and J's ROM had no quarrel with SPB PS. But, as fallenczar has noted, all new builds suffer from this. Looks like our gurus the devs managed to f*** something up...
Oh well, two steps forward, one step back; still, you end up closer to the ideal, eh?

its not our rom gurus who have done anything wrong...its m$...all the roms with the problem are running on the latest core (which is used in the released version of wm6)

I have had this problem with my Cingular 8525 from day one.
I don't run the SPB software, just the vanilla shipped stuff.
I would love to see this bug fixed.
Its worse in that I frequently get calls from people calling the previous owner of this number. With the current behavior, I cannot ID them.
