Sort Contacts

Can anyone tell me how to sort contacts by First name, Last name, rather than Last name, First name? my phone is doing the later..

hmm ok thanks. but i was actually talking about the contact list, not microsoft outlook. unless they do the third party program affects both?

Use the fileas thingy in Outlook to reorganise your contacts to how you want them, and when you next Synch the phone it will put them into the order you want them.

Not sure how or why, but I did it this way and it was grans grommit. However when I Added a new contact to the phone it goes back to Last,First but when you re-Sync it should sort it self out again.

i got around this problem by just putting the persons full name in the first name box. may not be suitable for some users but if you are just using contacts for phoning and emailing it works fine & smart dial is unaffected.
