When i have pushmail active on the Treo i.e. set it in sync schedule to 'as items arrive' and i try to make a modem connection over bluetooth through the Treo, i see that he disconnects the internal internet connections but reconnects directly after that for syncing again. the modem connection then fails. when i set it to manual sync, it works: when i connect from the laptop i see the internal connection closing on the Treo and after that the laptop connection comes up.
I find it quite a hassle to set the sync schedule to manual every time and often i forget to set it back to 'as items arrive'. is there an easier way to make the modem connection without having to change settings on the Treo. It would be so much easier if you could keep the phone in your pocket.
