G3 vs G4

so I have a g4 wizard, last week it started acting up so tmo sent me out a new one today (refurbished g3), my only dillemma is that I dont know which one to keep. after battling with it for 2 days, I finally got wm6 on it (g4) without CID unlocking it and I kinda like it. Now of course I could do the same to the g3 but are there any differences between the 2 devices at all?

KEEP THE G3! You won't have to worry about bricking it if you flash an IPL/SPL or extROM. That's the clear, and only, benefit. (But that's enough of a benefit in my opinion).:D

oh yeah, you can easily SIM and CID unlock it... for free.
