View Full Version : Linux or other O/S out there?

I've been doing my research on various phones and supported O/S's. Fact of the matter is, I've got the 6925 and I love the hardware that it comes with... but hate WM5. It's sluggish (especially when it comes to typing with the keyboard and switching between the phone applications, messaging, and internet explorer) and WM5 just doesn't cut the juice with me. I used to have a Blackberry, and the greatest thing about it, was that the O/S was simplistic.

My question is, is there anyone currently working on, or is there already another O/S out there that I could flash my 6925 that has support for all of it's native hardware (i.e. GPS, Bluetooth, WiFi, Phone, messaging, etc). Or am I just wishful thinking? I was hoping that when WM6 was released, an upgrade would fix a lot of the performance issues, but from what I read it doesn't, and there isn't a WM6 for this model being released anyways.

Let me know
Thanks.
