First, download the file from Microsoft's site (http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/details.aspx?FamilyID=0c1b0a88-59e2-4eba-a70e-4cd851c5fcc4&DisplayLang=en)to your desktop.

Then, connect your device to the desktop via the sync cable. Double-click on the installation file on the desktop to begin the installation. It will begin installing to your device through the ActiveSync connection.

I've found that it will work either from the device or the storage card. However -- for "core components" such as this, I prefer installing to the device.

An easier way is to just deploy a .net project to the device using vis studio 2005. It will automatically install cf 2.0
