Neither reinstalling Activesync nor performing a hard reset on my 8125 was able to get me past this error while attempting multiple times to flash multiple WM6 ROMs.

This is a brand new installation of Windows XP SP2 with no antivirus (or any other software for that matter) being installed. I've also disabled the firewall.

Any ideas? I'm trying to flash Faria's WM6 rom to my device. Yes, I've read, and successfully done every other step (including reading and searching plenty of threads) from getting a stock 1.xx device up and running. (Button's ROM, w/SuperCID unlocking, Installing official T-Mobile 2.26 IPL/SPL) Everything was going without a hitch until now. Any help with this would be greatly appreciated!

Thank you!

Remove the SD card if its in your phone. Sounds weird but SD cards can cause all sorts of flashing errors (including this one).

Yes, when flashing you should take the memory card out.

Sorry guys, I just tried restarting my computer, removing my SD card, and trying a different USB port. But alas, I'm still stuck with this error. Does it matter that I'm connected as a Guest partnership on Activesync? Are there any logs I could check?

mfrazzz, I just wanted to note that this also happens with your XM6 ROM as well... :(

Thanks for your help guys!!
