Just got a new XDA...
Are there certain things that you can delete...progs/apps that are just rubbish that would free up memory..increase speed of device?
EG I am not going to use Powerpoint...
Its come from O2 so am not sure if they have put any crap on it?

I highly recommend hard resetting it and installing in corporate mode. It will certainly help remove all the O2 preinstalled software.

Me too bought XDA from O2. :) I would also like to get my device faster. How do I upgrade it? I've been looking at this: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=310109 and there http://vidmes.com/Uni/ROMs/Laurentius26_UNI_RV3.rar
and this http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=306552: "Windows Mobile 6 Professional - Midget_1990 v1.0".
BUT there is always something of "Hard Reset": press RESET-button + "--" buttons and "Soft Reset": press RESET-button. Unfortunately, these commands do not work on my XDA. Thus, i cannot even use Wallaby bootloader mode: "press and hold the on/off key and then soft-reset the device" as i cannot perform Soft Reset!
So i cannot upgrade my device? Is there some other way to reset my settings to upgrade my device? I have performed "Clear Storage" and it works but does it help with upgrading ROM?
Thanks in advance.
