This is the 17745 build for Hermes.
I hacked the 3G icon by myself for not applying ugly skins, it only changes the big 3G square.

It should go in Base_Lang package, I couldn't get this dll working as module, that's why I added this file.

I've noticed some bugs :
- when connecting to 3G/GPRS, the half of the 3G connected icon disappears.
[EDIT] when showing the hour on the top screen, the icons are ok :)
- Your SIP settings program doesn't seem to save the settings. After doing a soft reset, my settings are not recorded anymore.
[EDIT] After 3 tries and 3 soft resets, the settings are now saved. But it's not working anyway. When installing Sip Config Tool V2.0.1 and doing "Load config from device", the fiels sip server is blank. The calls are now working with sip config tool 2.0.1.

There are two dlls to change (msim*.dll), and you must register the SIP dll into the registry, but I don't know if it is possible to do it without cooking it into the ROM, or maybe it is possible to add a new SIP to the original.

It works perfectly.
I tried to installed the cab for "Orange Mail" extrated from my original extended rom but its seems that it doesn't work on WM6.
Does somebody have this cab for a WM6 ROM ? (maybe somebody with a SPV e650)
I need it because I synchronise with this software for my business mails.

Voice Command has quit due to low memory, Close running programs and try again.
The only thing i have instald are : Weatherpanel and memmaid..

If I understand the WWE have a French keyboard and not a 'qwerty' :confused:

If have only AZERTY I think stay on the CUSTEL ROM :( because my layout when open a side extended keyboard is QWERTY.

same problem here.. did some speed testing.. & no usual HSDPA speed (on malaysian local telco; celcom 3G network) ..got roughly the same figure as the above.

did tried your advance setting config, enabled HSDPA & all but to no avail..

apart from the above, this build is fast & responsive..

I'm on AT&T in the U.S. Tried different radios to no avail. Even tried multiple WAP and ISP APN's along with the cingular proxy enable/disable.

Unfortunately, must be something as I just switched back to Black Dymond and I get 900kbps on a speed test in HSPDA mode.

Appreciate the effort and release. At least I get to reset some trialware software I was using(14 day trial) :)

Confirmed here (Netherlands, KPN 3G network). 3G and HSDPA seem to work fine, but speed is GPRS-ranged (51 kbit/s average). Tested with 2 SIM cards, both have the same problem.

yes, believed this could be the case, network incompatibility.. moved back to sleuth's variant of lvsw, getting back the usual speed (using usb internet sharing) as below

That's normal, I only changed the network prefix when you have a 3G connection, I think it's better like that.

For those which have slow 3G connection, did you try the 3G video calls?No video calling here, but I'm on Cingular in the central US. Anything sizeable over 3G/HSDPA comes down in 11-15 kb chunks. Streaming data constantly rebuffers. Just did a hard reset with manual network settings to no avail.

I'll switch back to my ROM to see how it performs... :confused:

As already reported, there is a small bug in the right up corner when Time is not dispayed (The little "3G" is cut in half and we don't see what's on the right on the title bar)

Under SJPhone if You know it, when You call for "**1" You've got the message handling (I'm with the Provider "Free" (freephonie.net))
but with Microsoft SIP it seems You have to respect a standard 0033XXXXXXXXX
Any idea on how to make it work ? - 0033**1 don't work

I'm using "SPB Pocket Plus" and I noticed something really annoying : if you select the theme "SPB Green (classic) Ext" and after You switch back to your theme, when you press for a long time in the right up corner (for switching or closing apps), the text appears in white and it's quite difficult to read it
It's not a bug from your ROM but I think from SPB, but, have you got any clue on how to fix it ?

a couple issues i found out

1. this is already post already regarding hdspa.- I cant get the icon tried your advance tool even with htcusom 1.4 and the speed that comes with it.

2. When you use the operator tool to configure your settings it sets up proxy settings which blocks my t-mobile uk with connecting with windows live.

Ohh yes I see on 'About' the Arcsoft MMS, but when I create a new MMS only have the default templates, so... I supposed have the animated templates with my voice... like on the site of Arcosoft say about the features of this app. But maybe on the Arcsoft MMS Cartoon have this:

As already reported, there is a small bug in the right up corner when Time is not dispayed (The little "3G" is cut in half and we don't see what's on the right on the title bar)

Under SJPhone if You know it, when You call for "**1" You've got the message handling (I'm with the Provider "Free" (freephonie.net))
but with Microsoft SIP it seems You have to respect a standard 0033XXXXXXXXX

I'm using "SPB Pocket Plus" and I noticed something really annoying : if you select the theme "SPB Green (classic) Ext" and after You switch back to your theme, when you press for a long time in the right up corner (for switching or closing apps), the text appears in white and it's quite difficult to read it

Yes, you have to respect the dialplan format for Internet calling, but I think that there is a way to use SIP voicemail, I will look at it for the next release of SetupVoIP.

I heard that there are some incompatibilities with SPB Pocket Plus and the lastest WM6 builds concerning today screen and themes, I don't know if it's about that, but yes it should be an issue from SPB.

PS: Wi-fi works without any trouble
The graphical bug in the right up corner of the screen is due to my Advanced Configuration tool, certainly an incompatibility with this build, I will fix it later, but I think that it could be fixed by some changes in the registry.

I really have no idea about the origin of this problem, I think the only settings I changed concerning connections and network are related to power management (those registry settings in the Wiki). I would really appreciate any help to solve it.

Configure your VoIP settings with my app (Programmes > Accessoires), the VoIP function has no effect in comm manager.

I used my TyTN connected on my Freebox, without any problem!

When you disable the USB advanced network functionnality, it uses the default serial connection, I don't know if it's the normal behaviour, but it's easy to fix.

Now is downloaded and installed, except for the attached 12 button Black Comm Manager cab which the system dennied the installation, says something like i don´t have the proper permission to do it. Any workaround?

The Excel-Application doesn't start!
When I untick the RNDIS stuff in USB-Verbindung, there is no connection to ActiveSync anymore.

Applications were working fine, after playing for a while I couldn´t open Excel nor Word applications anymore, a soft reset was required and asked for the system.

As far Powerpoint...... gee..... probably Office 2008 could have a Powerpoint capable to create ppt documents

Could you give me the files to replace?

You can't unlock files in ROM, I think that the only way to replace them is to use a provisioning cab.

Excellent ROM, I have the same problem with this ROM as I do with JJs Black Shadow. Both ROMs require that TomTom needs reactivation. Both ROMs did change the ID on my TomTom6 to the same value.

I found another small bug, btw: When you chose to move the Internet Explorer cache to microSD, it will not work because the tool moves it to \Storage Card\... where the correct path should be \Speicherkarte\... on a German device.

If I have the extended ROM visible... on the Camera app I have the choice to save the photos on the main storage and Extend ROM, my 2GB storage card dont appear as another choise on the list. If I take one photo with the EROM active in save optio in camera settings... the photo is saved... but on the main memory \My Documents\My Pictures.

... but I have one litle question... why I dont can't install apps on extended rom (I tick to show EROM and unlock EROM) but I try install some apps in this free space and dont...
If I have the extended ROM visible... on the Camera app I have the choice to save the photos on the main storage and Extend ROM, my 2GB storage card dont appear as another choise on the list. If I take one photo with the EROM active in save optio in camera settings... the photo is saved... but on the main memory \My Documents\My Pictures.

You need to have your device SuperCID to unlock your extended ROM.

You can't save your photos into storage card when you have your Extended ROM visible (the same when you have Bluetooth or Network folder visible), this is an issue of the camera app!

La ROM radio 1.41 est sensée être une version améliorée, mais je ne pense pas qu'elle puisse apporter des changements majeurs, au mieux elle peut améliorer la qualité de réception. En fait je conseillais la mise à jour uniquement pour des raisons de compatibilité, étant donné que je travaille avec cette ROM radio et que je ne peux pas garantir la compatibilité de ma ROM avec d'anciennes ROMs radio. À mois que vous n'ayez des soucis avec votre ROM, je ne vous oblige en rien de faire la mise à jour, mais ça ne coûte rien de le faire et c'est aussi simple que de flasher l'OS !

Le total de stockage est de 56.71 Mo. J'ai l'impression que vos images montrent environ 1Mo de plus.
Je me suis retrouvé avec un HTC qu'aucune touche ne pouvait rallumer. (Soft reset...) Je n'avais jamais eu cela avant en WM5. Cela vous dit-il quelque chose?

Oui j'ai essayé d'optimiser au mieux le stockage (total et disponible).
J'ai aussi connu ce problème, comme beaucoup de personnes d'ailleurs, c'est un bug connu des dernières build WM6 (freeze during standby) qui arrive aléatoirement chez certaines personnes, et personne n'a encore trouvé comment résoudre ce problème...

You need to have your device SuperCID to unlock your extended ROM.

What is SuperCID? my device is original unlocked to any carriers operators. I can active check box in Extended Rom and Unlocked Extended Rom, only I can't save nothing. Uppon a soft-reset with Resco Explorer I see the new folder 'Extended Rom and all the files inside the Extended Rom, but If I try install some app on this folder I receive a message ´'unsucessfull instalation' and I have to install in memory or storage.

But is ok... I disable this features because the bug with camera when I want to save on the Storage Card.

Sérieusement : Le HSPDA fonctionnant sur Nantes, j'ai pu relever des débits intéréssant allants jusqu'à 788 Kb/s (sur ta version 3.30a). Vu que beaucoup de monde s'est plein des débits avec ta ROM, je suis surpris. Possédant par ailleurs un Nokia N95, les débits ne sont pas vraiments meilleurs (812 Kb/s pour être exact) dans de bonnes conditions et à une heure ou il y a peu de connections... As-tu eu d'autres retours ?

Pour la manip que j'ai posté pour avoir accès à la TV live... Cela a t'il été intéréssant pour toi ? Utilisable ?

I will release new ROM updates, which should solve the following issues:

Graphical bug caused by the advanced configuration tool

Schaps, I think I like the ROM, it is clean fast and I can tell that you have put a lot of effort into this. Other than the things mentioned above (which don't really affect me), I have not seen anyone else complain about the physical keyboard mappings. I noticed that a few of the keys get wrong "blue" characters; like the underscore gets a colon, the hyphen gets a double-quote, and the @ gets a ?.

I hacked the 3G icon by myself for not applying ugly skins, it only changes the big 3G square.

I don't think that my next release will lead to another device ID, as there will be only minor changes in the build.

If you reflash with Schap's new ROM that he puts out it will likely not change your device ID, it still is possible that it will change, I am not sure what changes Schap's is planning on with the new version.
Chance you will have to take.
I used to have alot of issues with a program that would require new reactivation stuff with a new device ID. I fixed it, if anybody is willing to dump there Registry, let me know and I will look at it to see if I can do the same with TT. Long shot but worth a try. Don't post the reg dump on here though, PM me and I will give you my email to send.

No promises but it is working for me with Skyscape programs that looks at the device ID.

What can I say? My first post, love this one, tried 3.30a had issues with BTand memory leak I think causing lock ups. This one has changed my device ID to HTC-TYTN. No problem with TomTom auto reinstall straight up.

Only German and Spanish are concerned by this bug with Office Mobile. I didn't look at yet but I suppose that document templates are not named correctly or the MUI files are incorrect.

BTW, i forget to say when i post this, in version 3.30b, if you unhide and unlock Extended ROM, the links for utilities like operator config goes bad...If you execute using explorer works fine, only the links are bad.

Tout d'abord, c'est un travail plus qu'excellent que tu as réalisé.
Je me suis lancé dans cette mise à jour (la 3.30b) pour des raisons de stabilité bluetooth.
J'utilise un kit main libre bluetooth Parrot (CK3200) et je peux dire qu'avec la pile bluetooth de WM5, c'est carrement inutislisable (déconnexions en continu, défaut de synchro).
Ce n'est pas encore parfait mais c'est nettement mieux maintenant.

Je voudrais juste confirmer un défaut ennoncé il y a 2/3 jours par une autre personne et qui me semblait incroyable.
Mon Tytn ne charge plus depuis l'allume cigare. Alors que c'est ok depuis le câble usb sur mon PC !

J'ai pas pu attendre encore une version lol j'ai craqué, et je ai installé ta version 3.30B Fr et sans problème.

Un peu perdue au départ avec tous les ajouts que tu as fait, plein d'options pratiques, bonnes idées (comme le truc tout bete, le FlashLight, combien de fois ai-je utilisé la fonction photo juste pour éclairer avec le flash un coin sombre...là un raccourci et hop c'est direct).

Une question, c'est quoi l'icone sur la barre en bas à droite, qui représente un telephone avec un coeur rouge? Elle n'y est pas sur tes screen shoots... au démarrage ça s'appelle TrayIcon_MannerMode... Je ne vois pas ce que ça veut dire... :confused: Je pense virer la barre, mais avant je voudrais savoir ce que c'est car déjà vu auparavent...

Un truc super qui me posait pb sur mes anciennes roms, quand je désactivais la téléphonie, j'étais ensuite obligée pour la réactiver de faire un soft reset pour avoir l'invite du code pin, sans quoi aucun moyen de l'obtenir. Là ça marche nickel.

Le dernier truc qui me gène c'est qu'on ne peut pas choisir "Nouveau Sms" dans Softkey, on est obligé de passer par Messagerie, Sms, Nouveau Sms pour en rédiger un, je trouve ça un peu lourd. Et comme en installant Softkey par dessus ça ne marche pas pour nouveau sms, je n'ai pas de solution...

I used Core Kitchen and even if i make no changes to the files My phone gets stuck on the Splash Screen.

J'ai pas pu attendre encore une version lol j'ai craqué, et je ai installé ta version 3.30B Fr et sans problème.

Un peu perdue au départ avec tous les ajouts que tu as fait, plein d'options pratiques, bonnes idées (comme le truc tout bete, le FlashLight, combien de fois ai-je utilisé la fonction photo juste pour éclairer avec le flash un coin sombre...là un raccourci et hop c'est direct).

Le TrayIcon_MannerMode permet de basculer en mode vibreur par un simple appui long sur la touche CommManager. L'icône en elle même n'a pas vraiment d'utilité, mais il n'y a pas moyen de la virer.

Voilà une solution en pièce jointe pour ton raccourci Nouveau SMS, copie le sur ton téléphone et mets utilise mon programme pour créer un raccourci. La fonction sera directement intégrée dans la prochaine version de l'outil de configuration avancée.

Pour le PINpad qui n'apparait pas, ça m'est déjà arrivé quelquesfois, mais il réapparait quand on appuie sur la touche Téléphone.

There is one file to replace I am guessing that you replaced it, are they any errors when Bepe's tool is repackaging.

I know that I had trouble a few times with the same thing, it was usually the files that I was taking out.

Oui ne t'en fais pas le fait de cacher l'icône n'enlève pas la fonction de bascule en vibreur. Par contre pourrais tu me dire comment tu fais pour cacher la traybar, ça pourrait toujours m'intéresser...

Quand je l'avais virée la dernière fois, j'ai juste supprimer Traymachin dans windows\demarrage.

Mais là elle ne s'affiche que lorsque je suis en mode vibreur justement.
Sinon je n'ai pas de barre du tout sans avoir rien supprimé :cool:

I am having an issue with the text color in SPB Pocket Plus.
Usually this is suppost to be white, but now it is in black.
There is nowhere an option to be found; how to chance this color.

idem pour moi : le son écouteur (même à fond) est beaucoup plus faible qu'avant.
Y'a-t-il un moyen de régler ça ?
