I saw this in the Hermes Wiki and wondered if it would work for us too? Im trying to solve the issue I have with my phone playing 4secs of a song from my SanDisk 2gb miniSD. I have set the registry key for disablepowermanagement back to 1.
Do the following registry hack to help prevent future loss of the Card. REMEMBER Registry editing can be risky, so do some research before messing around with it.
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\System\?StorageManager "?PNPUnloadDelay" = dword:8196
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\System\?StorageManager "?PNPWaitIODelay" = dword:8196
(This extends the amount of time Windows allows for your memory card to respond before Windows decides that the card is not there)
