Lay it on me folks, I'm picking up an MDA for T-Mobile from letstalk. What should I do to it to make it purr? Or Whir.
I know there are sites out there, but as a newbie, I was hoping someone could just say, 'you need [blank] to improve its functionality straight away.' I could download and sync every cab file you all throw at me, but I might not know precisely what was being enhanced. Interested in writing a piece on user mods and want to make an evaluation of user experience. But a sort of 'blind taste test' as in 'you' are in charge of judging and recommending to me the particular hacks/tweaks/mods needed to create 'dream MDA'. Does that make sense? Say, for example building the best possible MDA that early adopters would be rewarded with at this point in time.
Not that this is purely a social experiment, I'm also impressed by the community response for the MDA, but I nonetheless am still selfish enough to want an unlocked Pocket PC and I guess letstalk provided me with that (if any of those cabs work, I suppose).
Sorry to rant, just have a very keen interest in the MDA and its community.
Thanks,
P
PS This isn't about the legal consequences of modifying things (I don't know what if any problems exist in this arena). This is purely self driven interest.
