New error ive never seen

When trying to login to Live messenger it goes through the sync processes then fails.

error is Personal settings: Failed to synchronize

any ideas? I tried searching the forum but got no answer. It lets me login to messenger just fine, only thing not that does not sync is my personal settings.

Might be a server problem. Was it working before?

on a diffrent version of wm6 yes. ive tested it on 2 from this build maybe it is a server issue. i didnt think of that

I have had this error for a long time, figured i was the only one experiencing it....It happens on my phone and my wifes phone........experienced it on the Core rom and on Crossbow reloaded and on the one Im on now.

I get the same message as well, have been for quite a while. But your email etc all still syncs fine, and direct push seems to work on live mail too, so i dont think its a major issue??

reinstall Live. That is what I did as i had the same problems.

Kinda major to me when im trying to get a good rom with no errors to push public. LOL. Im just picky that way

what version of windows live are you using?

If you clear your password and switch account in the Live options it will sync again.
