XDA Orbit WM 6 O2 German upgrade positivs/negativs

Dear friends,

I have upgraded my XDAOrbit to WM6.
At first I thougth something is wrong. I installed a seperate version of voice commander. Dont do that, that makes following errors.
1. No Voice command with Bluethooth headset
2. Bluetooth headset will not be found after softreset.

STEP 2
I reinstalled the WM6 Version how it came out.
Suddenly i missed TomTom and all the other features from the extended ROM.

You will find attached the extendet Rom of the XDA ORBIT German O2 files

Positiv: After I reinstalled any program from the extended rom seperatly my phone woirks better than ever.

Positiv:
- Camera works fine
- Bluetooth works fine also with headset
- optic is brilliant

Negativ:
- WLan function is not working how I am used to with WM5
- quick gps works only over WLAN not over active sync

I have upgraded my XDAOrbit to WM6 witch came from O2.
I have only installed the rom without the extended rom - than only the TOMTOM files from extended rom - Wlan works fine and Quick Gps also is updating by active sync 6.1 mobil device center... The only thing i miss is softkey. Without any troubles so far.

Ps. updated WM6 with vista ultimate, no probs

Quick gps is defintely working over active sync !
Maybe you forgot to check the box asking you to allow data transfer when connected over a.s.!

Okay ich sag es mal auf deutsch. Ich kann das WLAN nicht einschalten, wenn ich oben in der Leiste auf WLAN einschalten drücke, nur im Comm Manager!!

Und ich habe das gefühl, dass das WLAN dann nur kurz sucht und nicht wie vorher permant WLANS aufspürt.


Alles andere läuft eigenlich sehr gut und ich bin sehr zufrieden.

Das Quickgps funktioniert nun. Dann der fehlenden Haken.

Das Funktioniert alles Soweit gut, bis auf ein Paar kleine mängel

W-Lan lässt sich nicht Auschalten über das "G" Symbol nur übern commanager
Wireless turned not off over the "G" Icon, at commanager hes gone off

Mein HBH-660 hat seit dem Update ein Brummen, was mein gegenüber hört un meine stimme teilweise übertönt

My HBH-660 Headset, after the Update i have an "Brmmm" noise, which my contact hear, above my voices overhear

Seit dem Update auf WM6 ist er etwas langsamer geworden, werde denn

I have the same problem with the WLAN button, but I don't care, I assigned a hardkey to comm manager.

What really annoys me is that my dual-sim card does not work correctly, with WM5 it did. The card holds two SIM cards, only one is in use at a time. Usually SPB Mobile Shell shows me which provider I'm using when I switch on the phone, now it shows always the same even though I switched the card. I can only find out by doing a network request.
