Nope, no HTC Touch software in this new version, not even audio manager. No phonepad input and windows live neither. Quite clean rom but comes with scenarios (profiles) and a few tweak apps e.g. for GPRS. There are also keyboard input for Thai. Phone dialer is the same as that in smart1.3.

So first i've installed BS at 243MHz, htc homeplug and htc audio manager, all is ok it works but ... so slowly ! the device start after +/-3 minutes ! when i click on start menu, it need 2/3s to go, i don't understand why :confused: maybe htc prog are too heavy for S200 ?

you can install BS and audio manager... this programs relly works good... the only problem, i think... is the homeplug! I have that problem...

No problem with HTC Home Plug for me (PDAVIET 4.0.0.0.3) but only it, cause when I install commmanager or the Phone Pad, it lag my phone :/
For the audio manager you don't need to install it, download the OEM package, extract on your SD and execute audiomanager.exe, it's more rapid than in Windows folder.

You're right, after HR all is ok thanks ;) For audio manager, i did not keep on my SD cause it don't work on wm5 (great solution xvx45, tks)

Why car charging have same problems on all roms ? I want to keep this one :D

Hi, I am tested 2.0b3 for 21hrs, but some times charging battery dont work, and i Spb Mobile Shell Backlight function not work.

This version is as claimed very fast and stable. Comes with many programs.
The problem I found is after I installed Windows Live, VOIP and other programs it blogs down just like other WM6 ROM's. The remained Storage memory is also less than 4.0.0.0.3.

What I can say about this ROM is fast and stable, I wish I know what software I installed caused the slowness.

This Rom is fast as before and has the useful tools but i don´t really see differences after restoring the backup of my personal setting of beta rc2.

What is annoying me ist that the original bootlogo is overwritten by HTC/PDAmobiz Logo without notifying. That might void my warranty if something goes out of order and i need to reflash the original provider´s ROM. Reflash of the original O2 bootlogo is then needed, too if possible.

You are right! Fantastic Mobiz 2 beta3 with HTC Home is definitely faster than the PDAViet roms 4.003 and 4.004 i used so far...

but the device did hang and needed a soft reset a couple of times after the upgrade. been playing with it for the last 2 hours.. definitely faster! will try out more and report.

is there a reason the PDAViet is so much more popular than Fantastic Mobiz that i am unaware of?

i'm using it with spb mobile shell and spb time and it works like a charm!!!and it has colour theme 2 so u will never get annoyied of black skin ;)

Anyone has problems with bluetooth headset with this rom? Everything works well.

for some reason, when i use my bluetooth headset for a call, i can hear the other person but the other person cannot hear me. I have deleted the connection and rebonded and it still has the same issue. I have no problem issueing voice command over the headset and getting a response.

help anyone? this is so much a near perfect rom for me..

What make the 2 steps in the PDA Mobiz Rom Setup?

Easy!

First Part

write a clean WM5 (its more to elimination some problems :->)
write extended rom ... all programs they stored in the Application folder are stored in the ext_rom!! it save 9mb space and is high compressed!
it write the splash screen too

secound part only write the wm6 os!

i think its good that the PDAMobiz crew use old rom build and optimised them ... its useless if you have the newest build and nothing works fast and stabil!

next point ... they used 200 ppls to debug the rom befor we get it! all spartans are more beta tester ... i think so ... translating there forum is very ... like ... if you read nostradams LOL

Wow,Impressive, and it moves very fast, if also everything works well (wifi, bt, IR, etc ...) it is going to be the best rom up to the moment. Let's hope that July 4 should come promptly to prove it.

k, first testing results.

Compared to 4.0.0.4PDAVIET version:
+ Its clean and simple, I like it, takes some time to setup but thats ok.
+ It does allow all features, VOIP phone etc.
+ Comes with a handy set of tools, a bit better.
+ So far it seems just a bit more stable
- Hate the custom splashscreens, they are just there to pimp, they dont add anything
- Miss the extended rom feature, thats so handy to add stuff you want to install with it.
- Its SLOOOOOWWWW, I dont know why, I did install the HTC stuff. If thats it, well the PDAVIET handles the HTC stuff perfectly ;)
- Did miss the battery status thing

Not using it long enough to say anything about pairing bluetooth or wifi settings though.

All and all it doesnt make me happy, the PDAVIET is a bit faster, so far this one seems a bit more stable. Waiting voor 4b version on 4th July, not going back to PDAVIET in the meantime.

Hi Experts,

I am a great fan of Fantastic roms, I am currently using 1.1i, when i tried upgrading to 2.0b4, the step 1 went fine, and when i tries running step 2, i am getting a strange error which starts off with saying Cant load Sleep4.exe.....and after that it doesnt do anything.....i have to abruptly end my step 2.....any help to resolve this will be great......i cant wait to get my hands on this rom..........

After Toiling around....i think i fixed the problem.....the step 2 was running from a long folder name, so i renamed the folder to a short name. and ran it again....this time it worked........and the Fantastic b4 Version runs great......i have all my old stuff back.......and still its fast............

the touch flo wirks for real
but it misses some of the look that pdaviet has

but at least now I know why the camera 4.11 I put together uses so much battary :) it's the dll's from the touch rom that consume so much

I mean that for people to see if it works for them they have to just trie it.

A pointer though, when you start the flow, nothin ghappens just your today locks, use the geasture to select screens, so when you start and all seems locked, move your finger from side to side to use the cube. Move from bottum to up to close the cube. Maybey it does work, it looks locked for me too, but it isnt really.
