Hi all,

Just curious about the number of users using a screen protector with their Trinity.

Good idea, bad idea? Please share your thoughts.

Yes , I'm using the Brando ultra clear protector.
Quality is outstanding , and you can't even tell the difference.
Just have to press a tiny bit harder with the stylus.

Just make sure that your screen is absolutely dust free before applying.

For the people that have difficulties with dust ,apply it in the shower just after you have used it and there will be no dust.

Yep, Brando Ultra Clear is very good.
Take care to put it right first time. I've applied it and it was invisible, but about 1,5mm of edge. Removed it to place in center, and placed a 2nd time, but got some dust and could not clean it. So, take care, you only have one chance to get it perfect.

Thanks for taking the time everybody.

I wish I had done it off the bat, as I am beginning to notice the small scratches around the letter recognizer area.

You are absolutely corect my friend but not the end of the world. You have 2 solutions:

1st (cheapest): You can put screen protection now and then you wont see the scratches.
2nd (more complete): The scratches are not on the actual LCD but on the digitizer, that part that gives you the touchscreen capability. That part is cheap and you can change it. You can buy from here http://www.mspare-parts.com/product_show.asp?keyno=526 or another site and then you can use my guide http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?p=1306775#post1306775 in order to replace it.

Best regards.

You can remove dust parts from the backside with sticky tape.

You don't need a login. Just send an e-mail to Frank, the sales manager.
http://www.mspare-parts.com/contact.asp
He will answer very fast. He will also tell you anything you want about the piece (price, availability, if it fits your LCD, etc). Your request should be something like this. "I would like to buy a digitizer for my LCD screen, model TX0705APAA3".
Regards.

I just use the one that came with my M700.... Spent a good 5 minutes putting it on with a bank card... Can tell the difference, no bubbles although it does reflect light a bit muchly... oh and its not the best fit either but good for nothing .
