Hello all,
Ive just upgraded my phone to the WM6 "Fantastic Mobiz v2.0b3" everything went smooth, no errors.
until the device starts and starts the wizard, tab the screen .... and so on. when it reached to if i wanna set a password to protect the device.
ok i entered the password and confirm it. finished the wizard. then the device restarted, and now it asks about the password, when i enter it it says the password is incorrect. :)
Activsync also can not connect when the the device is locked.
What to do now? plz help!

It's a known WM6 bug.I will sometime forget the password,so don't use a password...

after setup PW etc ... make a clean shutdown!! It means ... switch it off and on again. this flush the registry back to rom. then he knows the PW after soft reset.

Hello guys, thanks for the replies, well thats good, it means there is still a solution :).
But i didnt get it yet, what should i do? i soon as the device starts it asks for the password, how can i flash it again? and which file should i flash?

Just make a hard reset, the password will be gone;)

If you choose "basic" password at the beginning it only accepts the "numbers" it doesn't allow you to enter letters.
Bu the password input screen allows it.
So if you write letters during your first password setting and if you didn't recognize that those are not accepted you feel you are in trouble.
My advice is "try just the numbers in your password and tap OK"..

had this problem as well. luckily it was soon after i upgraded.
so yeah do a hard reset unfortunately. now i don't have a pw at all
