Hello,
i was wondering if it would be possible to limit any application on my hermes to only use wifi for data-retrieval.
expect for the mms application of course...
a few days ago i flashed my hermes with wm6 from lvsw, it works fine (expect the thing, that i cannot change the keyboard-layout...) and reinstalled the SPB GPRS-Monitor. It shows 0 kb all the time, but this cannot be true.
10 minutes ago, i connected to google.com to search for some things, and, as expected, pie showed up google. the only weird thing is: after closing pie i noticed, that my wifi-connection was disabled, and my 3G/GPRS-Connection was enabled.
it doesn't matter what i try. if i disable 3g/gprs in comm-mgr. it reenables without user-interaction. and in fact: the device seems to use this connection, if its enabled (without asking me of course)
so no again my question.
ANY way to limit PIE and email-checking to only use wifi?
any way to do this without breaking my ability to receive and send mms?
greetings
garfield
ps: sorry for my, partially, bad english. i am not writing english so often atm. and therefore i'm not trained :)
