Hey guys and girls,

I am using MOTOROLA H300 BLUETOOTH HEADSET with XDA 02 Mini S, on WM6 (XM6). The headset functions well, except for the volume level - it's extremly low (even when set to maximum on the headset). Is there a way to increase it, maybe using some regestry BT stack tweaks?

I would gladly appreciate your help.

P.S. The headset is pretty loud when it works with Motorola V360

I have the same on an Motorola 820 stereo headset. But it can dish out more power. For instance using Core media player you can Pre amp the sound. Downside is that the next buttons and play button don't work in that. So if you want use it fully with WMP. You have to use a program like MP#Gain to bring up the decibels of your mp3's I would say 92 decibels as a minimum. At least it works on my headset. So i don't think this has to do with headset limitations.

My problem is not music playback, it's not like H300 is a stereo headset. I am talking about simple phone conversations. The volume is just too low...I really don’t want to ditch this headset...so any help or advice would be appreciated...I am still not convinced that it's impossible to increase the bluetooth headset volume programmatically... :(

i made a wrong assumption.
