trouble upgrading radio from 4.41 [Archive]

Hey guys. I had upgraded my cing 8525 to radio verion 4.41.something. GSM was working fine but data was not connecting. I tried upgrading the radio to 4.43..but the upgrade stays at 0 percent. I tried a diff radio version, and same thing. Only way i could get back into OS was by flashing OS only rom. Right now im trying official att 8525 update and its stuck at 12% probably because its trying to upgrade the radio. Anyone see such a problem before? Any ideas?

btw, i had flashed hard splv7 first, then radio to 4.41.00.10 then black shadow...then i tried upgrading the radio...no luck yet.

YEs, 1.41... I left the att update all night, still stuck at 12 percent. Is there a WM5 Rom thats OS only somewhere? I wanna see if i can get data to work in wm5 because it didnt work in wm6.

Now im totally unusable with no gsm message. I am going to attach my txt file of usb monitor....this is while trying to install original cingular rom and radio upgrade.

Any help would be appreciated.

Just ran a himalaya rom upgrade. Still getting no gsm sign and freezes at att boot screen.. How do i use that MaUpgradeUt_noID with a rom image i have?

seems i amhaving a problem with rspeed/ rpass...anyone know what that is?

Is a himalaya rom even compatible with a hermes device? Why would you even try to flash a rom from a different device into yours?

In any case you would be better off posting this in the bricked hermes thread in the Upgrading, etc. forum. There is a detailed matrix of different states of "bricked" devices. And suggestions on how to recover from each of them. Also the pros tend to watch that thread as well.
