hi all, i have upgraded the ROM from WM5 to the first WM6 realeased on this web and now i have got the latest from o2 web. since the first upgrade, i have always restored my programs and stuff in my PDA from my SPB Backup. does this affect anything? because i seem to be having a very bad memory leakage!

i am able to run explorer and Live messenger at the same time after a fresh reboot, but then as it goes on, one of it will shut down, due to running out of memory........and it all applies to other multitasking situation

now, the question is, should i have a fresh WM6 installed and try to reinstall all the programs i carried since WM5? or is it just the Atom Life that has got some sort of memory leakage?

I think you should re install new softwares fresh and try to find out which one causes the memory leakage. And I really don't think it's advisable to use a WM5 backup for WM6.

Atom Life ROM does not work on Atom/Atom Exec. Confirmed by my friends who tried.

Well... it's actually not quite a memory leak but certain DLL are loaded by Microsoft's own application, like Windows Live, IE and Pocket Word which are never released after you used the application. Oh.. ok, it's memory leak... but duh! it's Microsoft's own applications.

Anyway, another one eating resource is the MMS application.

Is there anybody out there, who can tell me if it's possible to upgrade an arabic Atom Life machine with the mentioned WM6 WWE Upgrade? I downloaded it but I don't dare to try it because of the waisted time fo having to reinstall all progs and data after a failed upgrade.

Still have no idea what is the difference between B2 ROM and B1 ROM which is release previously...

I only noticed that using B1, the "H" icon displayed easily while HSDPA connection is in use... but using B2, I never see this "H" icon...

no for sure... different architecture between Atom and Life means different ROM is needed...

no... hard reset means set it back to original factory default... regardless the type of the ROM, it will bring you back to the original state... so if you are using WM5, when you do hard reset, it will erase all user data and program then it will bring you to fresh WM5... and the same for WM6...

the bluetooth of my O2 xda atom life is not working. im done with the hard reset but still the bluetooth is not working, i also upgraded the ROM hoping the issue will resolve but still the bluetooth is not working. what am i supposed to do?
