Unable to flash

I really hope some in here can help me. I've looked all over the forum and wiki at xda-developers.com, and couldn't find any solution to my problem.
I started reading the guide for beginners, and followed it from start to end.

I'm trying to flash my HTC Hermes TyTN with the "3des.3" (WM6) ROM. Just before it'll start flashing to ROM and the blue, green and red screen is on my display, the guide stops and tells me that I shall check that the cable is in the PDA Phone and the PC.

Don't know that information you want to help me, but I'm using WM5.
Rom version: 1.18.255.3
Radio version: 1.03.03.10

I've tried on several computers and cables. Also lots of differed software, but anything results to the same.

Help? :)

Did you use Mr Vanx guide? What OS are you using when you try and flash?

Yes, I also tried that one.

I'm using Windows Vista. But some of my friends (with the same phone) didn't have any problems while flashing their ROM.
