can't install *.cab files? [Archive]

View Full Version : can't install *.cab files?

I've read the wiki and tried so many times to install *.cab files to my Hermes. But everytime i click on it it just show me xml source codes. Can anyone give me some advice? thanks alot.
my hermes spec:
ROM LSVW WM6 16/6
Radio 1.43.00

*sorry* didn't know i can't unzip it before put into the PDA. now it works.:D

I had similar problem, but mine included none of the installed apps showing up in "Remove Programs". I'd check to see if you have the same situatuion. Sadly, I don't know the cause and had to do a hard reset. I believe that it might have been caused by doing a restore of a backup, dunno.
