View Full Version : My QTek S200 is frozen.... HELP

Hi Everyone,

I try to install WM6 on my Qtek S200.. But it goes wrong.

If i try to start my Qtek, he freeze the screen on the "HTC, Smart Mobility" screen and shows only the version information.

>> Info:
IPL: 2.10.0001
SPL: 2.10.0001
GSM: 02.07.20
OS: 10.1.0.811

In this forum I saw the follow solution:

Connect USB Cable. Go in the Boot Loader screen (Hold down camera button, power button and soft reset until the 3 colours display appear). Run Rom upgrade Software.

Before I post this thread, I give that a try. But that is not a solution, I see a wonderful 3 colour screen. And if i start-up the Rom Upgrading Software (RUU_Prophet_220734_2207114_024721_QtekWWE_Ship.ex e) he said that there is no connection with my PDA.

Anybody?

j'ai eu le meme probleme et apres avoir installé la derniere version activsync et reflash cela à fonctionné.


I had the same problem and after having installed the last version activsync and reflash that with functioned

Anybody a solution for this? I try it again with WM5 and de lasts ROM from Qtek, but I have no connection with my PDA.

Do you have ActiveSync version 4.5 if is not install first and then reflash.

Note: When is appering the 3 colours do you have USB in the left corner?

No, I have ActiveSync version 4.1. Where can I download version 4.5, on the website from Microsoft?.

When I connect my phone, my computer reconize my PDA as a USB device. But the upgrade software and ActiveSync don't do that.

Now I use ActiveSync 4.5, the official download from microsoft.com and there is no connection possible. Yes I see USB in mine left corner.

If you have activeSync 4.5 and have the USB in mine left, now you can reflash again, i sugest you reflash to a WM5 and then a WM6 if you wanted.:)
