Please help, error 270

Hi All,
When i tried flashing my rom and upgrade to wm6, with uspl, i get error 270 - "The image file is corrupted. Please check your update utility".
I have O2- Xda Orbit...
Any suggestions ??

To be honest I am fairly busy right now so I just posted the links for quick reference, Are you using Vista, I will assume so because thsi is a known issue with this OS. If so

To get rid of this error try using another PC. It fixed things for me.

did you first run the uspl program from POF because i think your device is CID locked

the most devices are cid locked. If you use this program before every rom flash your device is cid unlocked until you give your device a hard reset. Just read the manual that i had post along the USPL file

To swap between carriers ( Orange, O2, and etc...) does it mean its unlocked ??

nope there is a sim lock and a CID lock on the device the things are not the same. Sim Lock is for your provider. CID lock is on the phone so you can't flash other roms to the device than the rom of your first provider that gave you the device.

I was also trying lots of things and suddenly it worked. Important is that when it looks like the device freezes/shuts down, that you don't reset or anything, just leave it and Just unplug the cable, reconnect and after that try the romupdate.exe again... It should work...

CID unlock it ?? I tried one of the soft's here, it doesnt seem to work ( or atleast i dont know...).

its ok now i redownloaded the files and everythings be ok!
