i have been wondering about which software is better for Nav. and real GPS locations. ROute 66 (which by the site, they say Dash is not compadible) or CoPilot? is it worth buying the receiver they offer, or any others in particular? thanks!

The 2 free apps, Google mobile and Windows Live Search, both work well. Google is bit harder to make work because you need to mess with the registry to make the port available. But either one does a good job. WHat you wont get with these freebies is turn by turn spoken directions.

I use Live Search on my Dash with a Globalsat BT GPS receiver. Works great.
