gsm.nb is from and only from the Orange one !

their updated gps firmware will only work with their radio stack ! :)

you should have used the ArtemisKitchen before in order to extract all *.nb from the Orange rom

only after then you can use The HTC Rom Tool to resign gsm.nb as gsm.nbh usable with the RUU ! :)

Just for trying to regain A-GPS in the near future ! It just doesn't matter having these dll or not...

Please make sure you have run quickgps and don't use Tomtom for verifying your gps is working well : Tomtom is rather slow in recognizing gps signals :)

Yes...if you want a pretty display wich remind a little the WM6 quality, install SPB Shell...it's a quite good soft !!!

yes i know it, that's how i found the trick to activate the GPS on WM6...trick that doesn't work anymore for me....

For the update, HTC talks about 3 weeks for the P3300 WM6 release...I think Orange WM6 rom will be OK on...September perhaps....!!!!

Thousand things to do before unfortunatly...:(

For now, I can just tell you that the 'B&B' has to be recooked in order to inject the "old" gpsid.dll but to be honest, if gps is working, timetofix is too long as the data transfer for ephemerids is never done... I suppose it has to do with a new radio implementation in wm6 ... :confused:

Also found a another problem with the frequent annoying "you're running low space" message with the pdaviet... :rolleyes:

i) dupliquer le répertoire de l'USPL
ii) dans ce nouveau répertoire, supprimer le nbh existant et y copier celui du zip
iii) relancer le RUU.exe depuis ce répertoire

Il est vrai qu'une mise à jour apporte son lot de bonnes nouvelles mais aussi de mauvaises (bugs). La Version 6 améliore, optimise le phone avec son processeur un peu lent sous version 5. Pour ma part j'ai le P3300 et non le MV650 mais toujours sous WM5 car c'est mon outil de travail. J'attends d'être en vacances pour le passer sous WM6, mais j'ai besion de la version française toujours pour des raisons boulot. J'ai déjà traduit pas mal de soft pour la communauté mais pas de réponse ici.
Comme tous nouveaux produits M$ Il faut attendre avant son utilisation. Il y a pas mal de platre à essuyer. c'est ce que fait, peut être, HTC en ne publiant pas la WM6.
Je dirai simplement que la WM6 apporte pas mal d'amélioration

hello! i'm sorry, i'm almost positive you've already answered this question; but since it was in french, i'm not sure if i understood it well.

from what i read (and understood), i must copy the folder uspl, then remove the existing nbh file in it (the one with ruu_uspl signed. is it correct? then i need to replace the one i deleted with the nbh file that you provided from the site that you posted, and then run that uspl to my device.

i've followed these steps, and wm6 works well with me. but i still don't have gps. i've already configured my gps device to everything that everybody have suggested, but i still don't have it. and i don't seem to have a quickgps anymore since i've updated to wm6 bb v3. please, can you tell me where i'm doing wrong? and can you please explain it to me in english?

yes, i do have the french spv m650 that i purchased in paris last march. i used to have the french rom, then i flashed it to an english rom (coz english works better for me). and then i flashed it again to the black and blue wm6 v3.

when i had the french orange rom, whenever i use my tomtom gps navigator, my device automatically connects to orange world, which makes me pay extra besides my forfait. i wanted to be able to use my gps without the extra cost, so i modified it from the registry editor, but then i lost my gps from there. and then i upgraded it to the english rom, which didn't help, and then now i'm using the wm6. will i ever be able to use my gps again?

if you're talking about the A-GPS registry key then your GPS is probably out of order coz enabling or disabling the A-GPS doesn't make a great difference with TTF (may be excepted with a cold start) :)

hi. i just reflashed my device and returned it to its original rom (orange spv)... and i can definitely say that i have gps working on it.

so now that i know for sure that my gps is still functioning... do you think it's still possible for me to upgrade to wm6 and still have gps?

or if not, can you tell me of a way to still use my gps without paying extra or connecting to orange world?

Well. Actually I'm sorry as I didn't tell it but my phone is CID unlocked... I have a good proof of it: I could flash a WWE WM6 firmware using only the RUU tool without any problem. So?

Well, well, well. I tried everything, using USPL, not using USPL, with different versions of RUU, without any success: I still can't flash my ROM with kulbutor's release. I got an error message after 2% telling me the ROM image is corrupted. Once again, if somebody has an idea about what I could do to fix this problem, I'll be happy to try...

But I saw that on certain forum it was necessary to put COM8 in port and COM2 in material port…(TomTom is ok with YOUR Rom).

This fix doesn't seem to work !

you should already have the USPL installed...

you just need to flash the gsm.nbh (http://rapidshare.com/files/39309890/upgrade_GSM.rar.html) from your RUU folder.

I put the radio v2.67, and install the fix again --> No gps :-(
Do you think it's possible to have a GPS working on this version or not (like your hack on B&B v3) ?
I hesitate to wait on this version or to downgrade to v3 m650.

could you also check for SerialGPS_650.dll and gpsid_650.dll in Windows dir on your device ?

Yes i have the two dl in my windows directory.
After install of visualGPSce, when i open it, i see nothing.
i can't choose com4 in visualGPSce or tomtom, to configure maybe it's the problem ? only com0, com1, com2, com9 are available.

IDD there's a problem, COM3 and COM4 should be present...

don't know why... changes in the Cab are strictly the same as I did for the B&B v3.0 :confused:

I'm afraid we'll have to do some recooking of Tom's rom ! :)

Hi kulbut0r.

I've a little problem with my SPV M650... I'm using ROM 3.4.0.0 WWE (B&B for M650 with the GPS fix) and Radio 02.93.90.

When i use VisualGPS, no problem. I got a quick Fix, all is ok.

But when i uss Tomtom, i got the fix, and then : Tomtom exit. Back to the Today page. No error message. If the gps don't fix, tomtom stay launched.

I've tried Internal GPS and COM Port 4 for Tomtom, it's the same. Do you have a clue for this problem ?

Petite question, le cab pour le problème du gps fonctionne-t-il sur toute les Roms ?
En effet j'ai eu des souçis avec la 1.50 de Aje_fr donc là j'ai installé une Rom O2 mais si le patch pour le Gps ne marche pas je vais repasser à une autre Rom...

Before I apply patch I get all comm ports, flashing orange light, but no GPS detected in tomtom.

After I apply patch, then soft reset, I loose com4 and no more flashing orange light, and still no GPS detected in tomtom.

Ths fix works fine in B&B though.

Any ideas?

and i install sdkcerts.cab first
and i instal Kulbut0r GPS Quick and Dirty Fix for SPV M650 WM6.cab after.

For the GPS photo, there are some changes to do in the registry. After that, it is working !

mmhhhh this patch doesn't work for me.
P9 folder already exists, and all keys was the same than in your previous post.
When I use Photo GPS it displays "Initializing GPS..." and left orange LED doesn't blind at any time.
