Is it possible to make some adjustments to the HTC Touch Home Plugin that is available here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=311225

to make it work for wm5 or is that impossible? It installed but it did not show opp under the elements tab in the today settings.

The dialer skins and comm manager works fine.. I would really like to see this plugin work for WM5..

I Tried it on my Wizard with Faria WM6 ROM and it works flawlessly. Like the look and feel. Any1 else with WM5 here who would like this plugin?

Am I the only one who would like to see this plugin work for WM5? If it is not possible, feel free to tell me it can't be done.

I would also like to know if this is possible as i have had to go back to Orange's WM5 just to stop my 3100 crashing all the time.

edit pe header - set subsystem minor to 1 in htchome.dll and htchome.dll.0409.mui. if you use ppc,not phone - delete import from phone.dll
don't forget to resign
or go to 4pda.ru\asusmobile.ru and find the patched plugin there

I'm using these plugins and so far it's working with no problems.. adjust backlight doesn't work tho.. and for some reason the clock on the home tab doesn't match the one in the taskbar..

the weather plugin works but for some reason it would not load the weather for my place (yonezawa, japan) or even tokyo.. which is wierd since the location is available on the accuweather website..

the launcher is also a nice feature.. even if some of the program icons don't look all that nice..

the audio manager is nice too.. although it's a bit laggy for some reason.. may have something to do with it scanning for new media every time I open up the library.. :P

as for the comm manager and dialer.. they're just a skinned version of the old one IMHO.. they look nice and they work.. so I'll keep them..

I would love to be able to edit the DLL as suggested but am limited in my knowledge about the same.
I also tried the 4pda.ru and asusmobile.ru as suggested but was unable to make out much, they being all in Russian.
Can you please provide me a link to the patched file.

Thanks,
Umesh

Since most of the carrier will roll out the WM6 update soon...why bother to make a version for the buggy WM5? I am not sure what problems you have with WM6, but it should work better than WM5 IMO.
