When will that windows 6 be available that allows the connecting to the wifi with using wpa+tkip? Because the present roms dont let them connect. It would be very good to solve this problem!

I have flash the PDAVIET 2.10.10 PV business version.
first view: Dammmmm it is very fast ROM!!! so far one issue: no sound by screen tapping other that no problems.

PDAVIET dont do that sort of thing, they just customise other people's roms :)

Yeah they just use kitchens to add OEMs, skins, plug-ins.

The base ROM is still either from Midget or Ivan. :D

Though, there is a slight problem that I can not connect the Universal to any Bluetooth. Whether it is a headset or my PC! This problem is peculiar this ROM only and no other ROM!

Anyone has this problem?

First of all thanks for this great ROM, I am using it right now, but I found that SMS and MMS are integrated in the same account under Messaging and I can not find where to set up MMS server and other things that previous versions you can set up from MMS account -> settings, now I only can change things like Unicode for SMS but nothing for MMS.

Anyone knows how to change it?

Hi all,

Changing the time-out for backlight to always on is still not possible. (same as on earlier version of this rom)

Also changing (in power settings/advanced) that the device must not turn off is still not possible.

Does anybody know the registry settings for this ?

Because otherwise this is a real fast rom, and the most stable wm6 one I have encountered.

(the business version that is, because I had some read/write problems on sd with the vanilla version)

I have test this ROM with all my BT headset: Jabra 250, BT800 and BT8010
NONE of them work.

Agreed! And another bug with all the PDAVIET ROMs is that the ROM turns off the backlight of the Universal after few seconds, even though the device is set to turn off, let us say after 5 minutes.

That's great that there is extra room released from Ext. Rom but somehow I can't install anything into it. I have tried spb backup and sktools but in vain. THey showed succesful installation but when I click on them, it said " either it has not signed the trusted cert. or some of it component can't be found.

I have tried the "default_unhide_unsign_Extended_Rom.sa.cab" but can't solve the problem.

Can somebody enlight me on how to utilitise the ext. Rom? THanks alot. :)

I think I have been flashing to much, I'm now on 2.10.10 business not ..A version ( I took it of the first page, and thought the business edition was also updated to A version)

And I can definately confirm your bug, which is very annoying to me because I'm used to leaving my uni. always on.

Does anybody know how to change the backlight settings in the registry ?

I have tried both 2.10.10 and 2.10.10A BUSINESS and with the latest one, 2.10.10A, I have no Bluetooth, I can not turn it on, so I reverted to the 2.10.10 BUSINESS which works perfect with Bluetooth.

Will use 2.10.10 untill a new version comes out.
