View Full Version : Jamin is totally stuck after ROM Update

My Jamin is totall stuck at the moment after ROM update of Prophet. I cannot even restore it to Factory Defaults. It was successfully upgraded started once but halted when i restarted it, now after the first screen, it only shows a white screen and stays there forever. i tried to restore it to factory defaults. was able to do that aswell but still no luck. the light stays there forever. Active sync ann LAN is showing Limited or no connectivity when i try to connect so i am unable to do anything. Is there any way to restore it back to its previous settings or do anything to make it work. The first screen which it shows only has the following information

IPL 2.13.0001
SPL 2.13.0001
GSM 02.07.20
OS 4.0.0.0

if it goes into bootloader mode(press Camera button+ while pressing soft reset),download this http://rapidshare.com/files/17208693/RUU_Prophet_220734_2207114_024721_NVID.exe ,and flash it.....

only if u can get into bootloader mode (reset + cam button)

Thanks Guys. It worked. I holded the camera key button on the side of the phone and pressed the soft reset key. Then leave the soft reset key but keep pressing the camera key takes the phone in the 3 color mode. After that i connected the USB to the computer and started the ROMUpdateUtility_NV_G4 file and it worked. Now everything is fine. Can someone now tell me from where to install new Windows Mobile 6.0 on my device? At the moment if i goto Device Information onmy mobile, following lines are there

ROM Version: 2.20.7.34 WWE
ROM Date: 7/10/06
Radio Version: 02.07.20
Protocol version: 413.1.03

ROM version: 4.0.0.0 WWE
ROM Date: 2/15/07
ExtROM Version: 4.0.0.3 PDAViet

What is the difference in the new version Rom 4.0.0.0.4 PV ???

4.0.0.0.4,has some HTC Touch software..... But,mate,there are 2-3 threads about it......READ AND LEARN...:p
