Does that change the 1st (manufacturer) or 2nd (windows mobile) splash screen?

Yes It changes the first 2 screens when the IPL SPL is displayed

i uninstalled it and ran the cab again and now it work beautiful. Also I noticed that the Weather will only update when i connect to wifi. But it look beautiful!

I'm making progress I finaly got it to load but it's not working right yet I got it working once and it's dam cool no more Stylus to change settings :)

nice to hear,you're working on the new camera....:D Keep an eye on the battery drain mate,because there were reports in the past,that after the installation of Camera 4.03,the battery lasted 1- day...even with the camera app closed....:eek:

when instaling cabfiles your phone will be slower but if these HTC stuff are coocked into the rom as OEM packages then it's not slowed down

Try extracting with winrar. Worked like a charm for me.

The camera is now working. All functions are working but it's realy slow. it takes about 5 minuts to start and same with changing profile. but when a profile is loaded is realy good and working like it should as long as you don't change profile.

So my first goal is acomplished, now I have to get it stable and faster.

Camera is now working 100% and ready for beta testing

I will open a new thread for the testing

Why not just use PDAViet's 4.0.0.4 or wait until his 4.0.0.5 Touch? It works, and god knows its faster than just installing it.

With all respect, but..... If you had read the forum, you should know that the...0.5 CROSS version (the one released) is without al the touch stuff. There will come another version ...0.5 TOUCH. But it is still not certain when it will be released. If you want the TOUCH, you have to wait awhile.

The same way you always did. It not a function within HTC Home but a setting in the Regional Settings panel.

I unticked my existing HTC Home in Today Items, then installed this one. And it works immediately after a soft reset.

But this one only has 4 buttons (tabs)? Today, weather, Apps and profiles.

There is another version with 5 buttons right? Though I don't think that one is in color.

Well you can upgrade your room to PDAVIET 4.0.0.0.5a Cross, it's one of the most stable roms out there and it comes with 5 tab home plugin. also the home plug in icons are colorful. If you got tierd of the colorful icons then you can get the image files from here:

once you download them , just extract them in your windows folder and soft reset to get the black theme.

I installed it on my Fantastic Mobiz b4 and it only has 4 tabs:
I think this has todo with the home plugin not really connecting to the Cube.
The 5th tab is filled with the same contact from the cube, so if it can not find the cube it only uses 4 tabs I guess.
Even though for this rom the cube is present, but it probably uses a diferent dll or something to find the contacts and that one is not the correct version I guess.

there are some cab file including the 5 buttom home plug. my gues is that it should work for wizard too because the 3 buttom wizard version works with prophet :D

I tried to change the colored icons from PDAViet 0.5a, but the original file seem to be protected or in use, even after i have disabled the plug-in.

I'm missing something but can't figure out what. How do I make a change with the image-files I have downloaded from here?

Hi, I just installed The Fantastic mobiz b4. Everything works GREAT!! the only thing that does not work is the contacts. Does any1 have a solution to that? Is there a 3rd party contacts tool i can use instead?

his issue is discussed on several other place, but I'll tell it again....

First, do a hard reset after the flashing is done. Do this in the proper way:
Press Camm and Comm together an press the stylus in the hole. Release stylus, but keep the buttons pressed until you get a message on screen.
Then press the green Connect button. Tou should get a message about formatting the memory. After this, you Hard Reset is completed.

Second, don't place you contactlist back to your device with anything else then Active Sync. Regular backup software places back the file where they found them, but as you just totally reorganised your organizer, this isn't necessarily the place where your new contact-program expects to find its data.

In short: Do a proper Hard Rese and then Actice Sync.

Hi Gullum and all,

are there any improvements or bugfixes to the new HTC Camera available?
I installed the 4.11 version and it worked fine, but the battery drainage was awful.
With the original Camera of TouchX i only get blurry images... cannot use it.

You always get blurry images when you overclock! Set the speed back to normal and you will have good images

I didn´t overclock anything. Or is TouchX already overclocked as standard?
In the Device Information it says 195MHz, so this seems the original value.

What is your device? If it is a Prophet, you better install Touch XB, this is a better version.
