They are using the excalibur in this video. This is pretty cool stuff. T-mobile is on the list of buyers. I think we'll start seeing these in restaurants pretty soon.

Very slick. Don't think you'll be seeing it in restaurants anytime soon... Vegas Casinos first, then maybe trickling elsewhere (airport lounges, etc) Realistically, most restaurants don't have the staff or resources to implement something like this, they're struggling just to keep their POS systems in order. While there may be an early adopter here or there, most won't like the idea of a systems failure having such an immediate and drastic impact on sales as well as transaction processing.
