I haven't seen this one anywhere else but I'm hoping someone can help since it takes several hours to my 8525 set back up. I have ROM version 1.34 .502.1 which I had to reflash after a disaster trying to upgrade to the AT&T recommended 2.15 level. For some reason, on the Today page only, the soft keys don't work. Neither does the PTT button using Sleuth's PTT Patch. I can't even do a hard reset from the Today page. However, if I bring up ie or another application that uses the soft keys, they work fine. I have loaded Sunnysoft Backup Manager and backed up my phone there. So I tried a hard reset and the soft keys work fine. However when I reload the software from the backup, again the soft keys don't work on the Today menu/PTT button only. I could go through the process of starting over in loading the software but if anyone knows where these Today page settings might be kept, I'd appreciate the information. Thanks in advance.
