Just wanna start off by saying THANKS to Schaps' effort in the latest ROM, it's great!
I am currently using the 3.30c ROM and replaced the wince.nls and adjusted some font settings for Chinese support. I am also having 2 email accts (imap) setup on it which retrieves email every 15 minutes.
Here comes the problem, once a while the phone will hang, and sometimes it does not wake up from sleep. I tried to take out the storage card to see if it will activate it but it seems like not working.
The main issue I am suspecting is the memory. I think it dies every time I run several programs or have both wifi and bluetooth on, which uses a lot of memory. (oh, also GPRS).
Here are the symptoms:
1. when the GPRS is on but not being used (my emails have finished retrieving from server), I went to comm manager and tried to pair a bluetooth device with serial port, it hung...
2. while the bluetooth is on, I turned on wifi, died......
3. I reset the device, stuck at boot screen.....
4. resetted again, stuck at today screen (but I can see wifi icon is on)
5. took out the battery and stared at it for 5 minutes, put it back in, turn on, working again...
I know there is a program Oxi.. memory release which frees up program memory, but most likely I will not remember to release it once a while. So is there any other solutions? Or is there something to do with the ROM modification (Big Storage)?
Hopefully somebody will come up with a brillian answer. Thanks in advance~~~
