HTC Excalbur Homescreen

Just was wondering, I currently use the windows simple theme. It actually has no icons on the homescreen. I see at the top tho it has a Tmobile Banner, is there anyway to remove that? Also is there anyway to re-locate the date and time at the very top like where the battery indicator is? Please feel free to leave me suggestions or comments, that would be greatly appreciated.
