I'm thinking about buying the HTC Advantage 7501 from Amazon in August but I don't have cell service yet. I plan on getting cell service from AT&T, but don't want to sign up until I know if I'm going to keep the HTC Advantage. My plan is to test it out on my WiFi network.

Will the HTC Advantage work over WiFi without a SIM?

yes SIM is only required for network data connection or network/operator call connection.

WIFI not sim related.

That's what I thought, but since this is new to me, I thought I'd ask. Thanks for clearing it up. :)
