Hello, in Spain also it has become possible to adapt the Touch in a rom, has made it Franlov, big Spanish cook, jejeje,
I leave to you a video of what it has obtained at the moment, in a few days also this rom will be free in Spanish.
The video is of very bad quality, only we had a web - cam to do it, the program TouchFlo is completely translated for Spanish, as well as 95 % of the rom.

Touch Flo: works only once most of the time, occasionally doesn't even start after soft reset
Speed: slower than pdaviet 4.0004s
Phone: doesn't start sometimes, needs soft reset

Bear in mind, I have not installed any third party software yet.

the soft key didnt work well for me. but after i assigned the touchflo to the 4th button (aka comm manager button), it works great now!

It is draining battary more then Padviet.

Iv'e installed the efl camera on it as well and it does not increas battary drain. can be found here HTC camera 4.11 (http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=314798)

so my gues is that it's the new drivers that are causing the battary drain....
Most of the dll's I used in the camera cab are shared by other apps within the touch.

Jester sugested in an other therad that we get the battary driver from ELF(Touch) and get it to work with our Prophet.

The TouchFLO works perfect and not as said before it works every time. and can be closed by sliding the finger from the bottom left and uppwards agains right.

Very cool is the finger-scrollign-feature within SMS, Contacts etc!!

This ROM is realy nice, dont find any bug so far ! Touch cube work very good with finger and other menus too. I have Qtek S200 (G3 variant). The only thing i miss is Slovenian(EU) regional setings and touchFLO dialpad. Good job, keep going that way ! Thanks very much.

MMS works! You must setup ... i change soon any Apps and Provide a Euro Version with Auto Config GPRS and MMS Gateway for a lot of Providers ...

HTC ELF have a bigger touchscreen ... its bigger than the display!! Prophet havent it and touchflow cant recognize to start his apps ... this is why we need a softkey

a wizard rom have this feature ... but i must check what they do ... i think they over size the touchscreen area ?!?!

Played with it now for a couple of hours.
And I love it!

Its the best ROM so far IMO. I do have some of the old issues:
- Wifi not always starting, although it does start more often i think
- Setting of custom ring tone is reset when pressing ok to close, switch tab first
- BackLight bug is still there

New for me is that I do not get a SMS send notification, that sucks.

pros:
- Full mobile office stuff (including one note)
- the TouchFlow is great, it misses a app launcher page though and I personally dont want the media page, weird choice IMO.
- Performance is nice
- Battery drain seems stable compared with others so far
- It has an incredible set of usefull little tools all ready in there

Did not test yet if the saving of bluetooth pairing is stable. Needs a couple of days to test that.

I am hooked here, will stick with this version for some time, it kind of answers all my needs... well I still miss voicecommand ;-)

this is a great rom but i would find it better when there where a screen for quick launch programs. also a better keyboard skin and dialer skin intregrated in the rom would be nicer.
it's bad that the date is set to 2549.

Thanks.. stable rom so far, touchflo works well. I Found the Xbutton to be sluggish and slowing down things, but installing Ver1.50 took care of that problem. On the whole, surely a rom to develop further.. :)

edit : Not sure if its the Xbutton, or sensitivity issues with pressing the ok button.. will check more on that

As far as I know the only thing that can help you is to use win xp for flashing. There is no way for me to flash via "constructure" under Vista...

I can charge through USB, but no sync (I am using Vista and wmdc), also no IR! I tried with clear storage as mentioned in a post, same result: no sync! Sync is now running for more than 5 minutes (I can see the spinning logo on my ppc too), but it is doing nothing at all, not even syncing my date and time! It stopped now, but no sync!


One other remark: Why did someone started a second thread? Pleas use only one, KIS please! Keep it simple!

well. I had the same problem,(not with this ROM though) I re-installed the ActiveSync and it solved my problem ! :)

Sync work fine forme on XP with AS4.5 and on Vista with WMDC.
I've a problem : I can restore my SMS saved(780SMS) on pdaviet 4.0.0.0.4S with PIMBackup but the next soft reset there is the error with "sim card blocked" (when I make soft reset, the phone is unplugged) so obligatory re-flash.

My question is : how to restore SMS saved with PIMBackup (saved on PDAViet 4.0.0.0.4S) without having problems?

OOOH hehe I don't see the home plug to be useless :) anyway just unselect it in today settings.

what I think of as useless is all the apps in the assosaries folder, most of them I have no ide of what they do and some of them do the same thing.

Oh I don't think home plugin is useless too, i think you miss undrestood me, what i'm saying is that, after i soft reset the devide right before the initial customization, the home plug in do not work ! I want home plug in to be there that's the whole point of this rom i guess ;)

On the matter of the power consumption:
It used in 12 hours time 17% with light use, so a couple of phone calls and some showing the FLO. That is fine consumption for me.
Later that evening in 3 hours time it dropped another 16% and I think why, I tried to enable my Wifi and failed, and even though the interface stops I think its still trying to enable Wifi and so the consumption increases. I think this because I had once that suddenly a couple of minutes after I tried to enable Wifi and failed, the Wifi turned on by itself.

Will try some more.

On the matter of the BT icon at the bottom:
Like posted a couple of pages back, remove the BTIO from the windows/startup and also the trayicon tool thats in there and reboot. Gives you another line on the today screen for your appointments.

Results from my testing so far :

1. Very Fast!! :-)
2. Wifi works intermittently.. (i put a regedit in the startup to force the reg entry to HTCPreloadstatus = 1) 80% of success in turning on wifi.
3. BT works.
4. A2DP works - can hear minimal hissing with my R35.
5. Voice command works.
6. 1 man's junk and another man's gold! enjoyed the treasure trove in accessories. no need to install and they are all compressed in the extended rom. save space and improve speed.
7. TouchFlo Cube works! (used a tray launch icon for cube rather than a button)
8. Installed a host of applications and the rom is still fast enough for me... yippee

As i'm testing my own Wm6 rom, I can't install this one, so could somebody confirm/deny the battery issues are gone/fixed ? and with battery issues I mean when you connect the usb cable does it start to charge, and stop when you pull it out, both with the power adaptor or the usb sync cable.

I like all the new stuff in these roms, but i'd rather see a clean STABLE rom without bugs, and thats my aim for my rom :)

The battery drain is about 1% per hour in standby without WiFi or data connection.
The charge is ok with PCSynch and power adaptator but I must attempt 5 seconds when I plug for charging and 5 seconds when I unplug to see the orange LED to flash green.

Thanks, the delay is fine, I just want to be sure that is actually starts and stop charging, also a previous bug was when you connect the adapter, it looks like it charging (red light etc) but when you disconnect and check the % left, it didnt charge...

This version is the fastest of all WM6 ROM's for my Prophet.

For some unknown reason, the Wifi connection is not consistance and neither is Windows Live. It freezes on me quite ofter after I installed a Chinese OS in it. I can't live without the Chinese OS unfortunately. I had no where to go and bought a Touch, but it has so damn little memory and I also got stuck. I am glad they built some fences around the GoldenGate Bridge otherwise I may find jumping off it will solve my PDA phone problems.

Installed this for 2 days, great ROM run fast. battery consumption I think is a little bit faster than PDAViet 4.0.0.3 but is acceptable.
Wonder some one can change the pool size to 8mb as I encountered the same problem with PDAViet 4.0.0.1(can't remember exactly which version:D ) that the device frozen and cannot get back from standby mode:confused: .Both of them I believe to be 4mb paging pool. FYI I have no such problem with PDAViet 4.0.0.3(8mb pool).

my bluetooth do not have problems most of the time.

occasionally, comm manager fails to turn on bt. but very rarely.

the workaround for me is to go to settings > connections > bluetooth > mode tab > check turn on bluetooth. a bit primitive but works everytime

all this does is set the HTCPreloadwifi=1 everytime i need to reset my device. i think the problem is the value was resetted to 0 everytime you reset your device. That's why the wifi doesnt work. not sure if this works for everyone. but for me its working nearly everytime. :-)

I do find that sometimes I have to click on the Wlan 2 times and maybe the bluetooth twice to make it turn on, also the webcam Holmes program don't work on this OS but it works on Pdaviet 4.0.0.4sPV

Where you click a menu and it takes about 5-7 secs to display the menu, then when you select an option it takes another 5-7 secs to select that.

Also when you try calling someone it pauses, also when someone calls you...

I've tried Hard-Resetting, I've even tried reflashing - Nothing stop's this problem.

I think I'm gonna have to go back to PDAVIET - I was really looking forward to this release, I've always tried to use the Fantastic ROM's.

I am having problems accessing the internet. I click explorer and try to navigate to a site. A box appears and says "Connecting to O2Flat.." This is the connection I used before. A couple of seconds later a box appears that says "Can't Connect. Dialled: The answering modem has disconnected. To check your connection settings and change them if needed tap Settings".

Does anyone know what the problem is and how to fix it?

this is because imgfs partition in that rom are build/repacked with usage of tadzio tools instead of mamaich, hence it reduces the size of imgfs block and so OS.nb
if pdocwrite length is kept original (0x3900000) and this reduce size OS.nb is flashed then upgrade procedure will not prompt completion, hence cooker have changed pdocwrite length to match reduce size OS.nb to get rid of uncompletion.

as far as i know, every unofficial rom i used shouldn't be reset by Hardware button right after paring BT or setting something (inc.email). I always turn my phone off or reset via software first. Afterthat I can you Reset Button Hardware as often as I want..............
So I have never lost any setting since I do like this

I feel that it has No WiFi/BT Problem

After two days of deep testing, i woke up this morning and discovered my prophet dead : no more battery... (the last time it did it was with the 1.1i version of this rom)

I suspect a big battery drain...

Other bugs i observed:
_ Wlan is capricious : sometimes launch, sometimes not...
_ after 30 secs of standby, it wakes up and I need to push the power button one more time to put it in standby

I suspect my installation because I skipped the step one by flashing the official 2.20 NVID rom...

The bluetooth on my iTech R35 don't hiss anymore also, really good, this is the only rom that don't do that.

Why does it delete my installation cab file on my SD card after I run the cab afterwards?

Another problem I find is after I started installing my other programs on and using it for 1 day, the Dopod starting to lock up, no response, I can turn the screen on from the power button but that's it, also the HTC home sometime don't repsonse also, when I click on the applications.

Just upgraded to this ROM and I cannot get my WiFi to work at all. Even if I get the WiFi to be enabled and I enter the details of my Router it finds it as "Unavailable". WiFiFoFum also sees no WiFi access points at all (there are normally 3 including my own in my vicinity).

Any Ideas as I will have to revert to WM5 if I cannot fix this. Aserg 3.3.13 WiFi worked fine before upgrade.

Thanks, the delay is fine, I just want to be sure that is actually starts and stop charging, also a previous bug was when you connect the adapter, it looks like it charging (red light etc) but when you disconnect and check the % left, it didnt charge...

I still have that bug, but it only started some time (aprox 1 week) after I installed the ROM.

i agree it,but have you tried other radio Roms?Maybe the Rom is not compatible with IPL/SPL 3.08....:confused: Also,i believe that some bugs,are completely random... I had a problem with the BT on/off,when i first flashed this rom.I backed up everything with spb backup,hard resetted,restored,and everything works fine now...:)

Me too, it doesn't charge on the mains, is shows very low mA, but on the USB sync to the computer, it charges +356mA, I have already installed the XDA battery fix.

I am using this ROM for couple of days, getting used to it. Really rocks.... less battery drain without any fix. Installed battery status, works like a charm and fast with cpu scalar.

Just I need a fix for BT, most of the time its not working. If this is fixed most of the things r done for me.... PLZ help me out!!!!

I haven't Installed the apps in External Rom, It takes between 6.7 to 6.2 Sec to show the windows folder.
I've Installed :
Google Maps, Happy Tapping Keyboard, RHM reg edit, Lake Dialer, Xrgomics TenGO, Spb Diary, Mental Motions Pencil Box Deluxe and Activekitten Chronos.

I think that most of the problems with this rom is based on PDAMobiz russing this release, so they would be the first to have the Touch Flo on their rom. The new HTC dialer and CommManager are Bouth within the rom. But the Dialer does not install and the CommManager gets overwriten by the 10 bottom version if the extented rom is instaled. That must have been because to much focus was on the Cube. The Cube works ok but sometimes when closeing and you done slide the finger far enough up the screen the starmenu is in the midle of the screen. Bluetooth is not working well and probably also besause of the Touch focus. They just see that it loads and asume that it works.

This is a nice rom and good to get a chance of trying the TouchFLO but I'm waithing for the next PDAViet rom to see if they got it working and hope they have focused on other things then just the Cube.

I've tried integrading the TouchFlo from PDAMobiz into my own rom and got it more stable and running smoother but the core rom of my kitchen is not stable as it turnes itself of and restartes to often. I need a new core rom for my kitchen.

what i did not liked:
-mms not working
-calendar in thai, i guess, and it's a big problem.
-weather information are great but i did not found how to setup celcius instead of farenheit
-htc task manager, why always install this software.there is a lot of other soft which work better
and some ohter things

What i did liked:
-touch interface
-Beautiful
-speedy
-good used of the battery
-everything worked (except mms)

So this rom is a very good one the lack of mms or the calendar in thai are big problems.

if these problems are solved, it could the best made wm6 rom.

-MMS is working after setting is done via Start->Settings->Connections->Network Wizard
-Calendar language default is in Thai which can be changed in Start->Settings->Regional Settings
-Weather Information can b Set when u taped on it,and on the same screen where u select the locations click Menu->Weather Options which u can change from F to C

Well, sometimes the screen may not display, however, if you slide your finger on the screen, the touchflo thing still functions.

hey you were right it does re pop up if i slide it.
isn't there any way for it to minimize it then re pop up by pushing the button instead of sliding it.

I don't have any problems of the triangle cube not coming up, if I slide it from left to right ot right to left, but once I have dragged it down, is it possible to pull it back up. I couldn't do it unless I start the touchflo again.

sending MMS : Resolved

I have just succeeded in sending MMS
In order to configure MMS parameters you must do :

START> Messaging> MMS.
choose Menu > NEW >MMS
Select one of the image
Do MENU > OPTIONS > MMS Options
Tap on Servers
Tap on New

The following depends of your operator (in my case Orange FR)
Server name = orange (usual name)
Gateway = 192.168.10.200
Port Number = 9201
Server address = http://mms.orange.fr
Connect via = MMS ORANGE
Send limit = your limit(100K)
WAP VERSIOn = WAP 1.2

DONE
Do set as default
Do OK

And after that, you can send and receive MMS.
In order to find mms parameters just surf on your operator website

Just like suggested Obrian, you can do that in order to receive date configuration parameters according to your operator. After that, you should have your mms parameters available in the "connect via list" :

Bluetooth : Problem identified but not solved yet

I've identifyed something about bluetooth trouble

At start up, the process SAPSettings is launched.

If i kill that process, BT can be used normally, but I have no idea about what to do in order that stupid process to be launched automatically.

The file (in windows directory) can't be deleted, and i havn't found it it register.

Has anyone an idea ??

Sorry dude, I think that's the way this rom works for now. You activate the touchflo app launch by hitting the right soft key. This will launch the touchflow app launcher whether you see it on the screen or not. Try sliding the screen to see if program is working on the background.

No !. I'm using and feel very fast !. That is a nice ROM !. You can change out use version PDAViet 4.0.0.0.5Cross is released !. Thanks !.

now my mms works and my calendar is ok!!!

but wap access is now working anymore, arrrggg, if i put back a wm5 it works but not if i put a wm6 whereas it has already worked, it's seems to be a problem between my pocket and the provider proxy

I create a connection with proxy info and i modified some strings in the registry: hkml\software\microsoft\windows\current version\internet settings\5.0\user agent

but if it worked at least once on wm6 and always in wm2003 and WM5 i can't make it to work anymore

sul sito vodafone scarica il pdf di impostazione x qtek 9600. è praticamente uguale.

on vodafone site download qtek 9600 setting...it's the same...
