how can you remove the branding on htc charmer ( mda compact II)

Make a new .doc file in Pocket Word and write: "--remove:brand -os:wm5" save that file. Soft restart, and it should work.

i konw hoe i remove the branding on htc magician but dont know on htc charmer. i looked wiki but not found the informatin abaut removing the branding.

somebody answered as below, but i didnt test it yet. next week i get a htc charmer than i test it.

do you mean the software branding or branding of the phone's case? smiling smiley

SW branding can be removed, if you don't install extended ROM content upon hardreset.

When you see that customization starts installing, just reset the phone.

Pretty much all the T-Mobile branding is included in the ROM so skipping the extended rom wouldnt achieve very much.
