Windows Media Player was left in the ROM to avoid issued that were faced when i released Shadow LE with no media player. Dont ask me to remove it.
To gain EVEN MORE performance if you like, install "pimp my black 0.2" and increase the UI font cache to 32K and you can also increase the file system cache to 4 or 8 MB. This will reduce your available RAM but will make your device a flamin' rocket.
Note: Do not ask for cabs for the above. THere are many cabs already floating around (yes even office) in a few forums (xda-devs is one of them). DO a search and you will find it.
