View Full Version : Trying to set Blackberry connect on Trinity in Italy

Sirs,

I'm trying to set bb service on Trinity.

I'm in Italy, my operator is TIM (I've a business contract)

I've downloaded the file BBConnect_PocketPC_BB_2_1_1_2_45 and installed it on my Trinity.

I was assigned with a PIN and IMEI. I register myself in blackberry website www.tim.blackberry.com.

So I've an account blackberry.

Launched the service in Trinity "Setting" menu.

Something seem to start: "E" for Edge displays two arrows.

It give me an IP address for one second (120.160.39.12) then everything stop.

I noted that:

my "Service List" is empty

In Utility page only the field "register now" is tappable but nothing happens if I tap.

In Option page "connection" is blackberry but it is grey, "detail" shows APN Blackberry.net; user name: rim; password: password; IP Address: 20.51.26.189; remote port: 19781; local port:19780;

in page "PIM", "Calendar" is the only field and it is selected.

in page "Information"
BB version 2.1.2.45
transport version 2.1.0.87
system version 214.253.39.155


Could you help me?



Is there anybody experiencing BB service on Trinity in Italy?

But if I register in site of BlackBerry, can I use the mail pushing?

ciao sono italiano anche io e chiedo scusa agli amministratori del sito in quanto non so scrivere in inglese
volevo sapere se eri riuscito a farlo funzionare perche anche io ho lo stesso problema
il bello che mi ha funzionato per una settimana e poi all'improvviso niente piu
fammi sapere se hai notizie e grazie

No mi dispiace attualmente non funziona (e non ho ancora avuto il piacere di vederlo funzionante).

non ho avuto tempo in questi giorni di fare ulteriori ricerche.

I was busy in the last weeks so I did not perform extensive researches.
By the way, I'll keep you updated.

No news on BB Connect?
I try to use it with a Wind SIM...
Wind don't accept IMEI/PIN generated on my HTC P3600.
Can you help me?

I have the same problem with TIM & HTC P3300! I think there is no solution. BB connect generates IMEI and PIN but the bis service sais they are wrong... :-(
