[CUBE] Change default directory Music/Pictures/Videos

I just found out how you change the directory settings of the media screen on the cube.

As mentioned on this forum, a big disadvantage of the media screen of the cube is that whenever you click pictures or video's you will be dropped in the default pictures folder. But the camera stores the pictures on a different location. I found out howyou can avoid this by changing some stuff in the registry

First go to:

HKLM\Software\HTC\Biotouch\MediaHubMini\

in there you find 3 folder's:

App1_1 == Music
App1_2 == Pictures
App1_3 == Videos

Since I have no problems with the settings for music, and i don't use the video's that much i will only explain here for the app1_2 folder, but i works exactly the same for all three

enter the App1_2 folder in wich you will find an entry called Path and a entry called Param

For this on you only need to change the Param setting in which the default location is saved

change the param setting to "-directory:\Storage Card\DCIM\100MEDIA\" without the quotes ofcourse

softreset and you are done...

Under the email button of the cube, it always takes me to outlook mail. I want it to take me to my windows live mail inbox. How can I do this?

I tryed to change the photo "botton" to the program not to a folder. And now when I use it the program starts but also a photo folder is openning.

fluxc, all you need is this:

You'll need a registry Editor. You could e.g. use Total Commander (http://ghisler.fileburst.com/ce/tcmdpocketarm.cab) - it's a great File Explorer with integrated Registry-Editor and much more. In the root-directory you'll find a directory named "\\". After you changed to this dir select "registry". There you'll find "HKLM".

I have try like 3 or 4 times already , and so far I can not make this thing to work , it still takes me to the default folder , I am using Resco Registry Edit , any other way to do this ?? all I have to rewrite over the existing path is : \Storage Card\DCIM\100MEDIA\ right ??

Yes this is true for an english Touch, if you have for example a dutch rom the path would be \Opslagkaart\DCIM\100MEDIA\

so check what the name of your starage card is... (i have a dutch touch myself so i used "opslagkaart" which is the dutch translation of "Storage Card")

I also got this figured out:

Go to "HKLM\Software\HTC\Biotouch\APLauncher\App1_1\" and then change the Param setting to - service "###" where ### is the exact name of your e-mail account Note that this name MUST be WITH quotemarks!

ive tried this over and over with total commander but it doesn't re-route it

if i change it from anything but the default, it automatically just looks into dcim folder.

i just bought the touch lst week so its wm6, is there a different method with wm6?

My default location for images is: Opslagkaart/My Documents/Afbeeldingen
but if i try that it loads my Video ?!
So how can i re-route to the right direction? Or how can i get the original register setting back? (i didnt write it down)
