How many Touch's do we own?

I thought it would be interesting to see how many people in here actually own a HTC Touch. I know there are a lot of people who simply read and get all their info with out posting much. I just got Mine in the mail yesterday. I had an iMate Jam for 2 years. The touch is a great upgrade!

29. Gee, seems like everyone is happy with their Elf except me. I have mixed feeling because Elf has 10Meg less (machine) storage memory than my 818Pro. I can't load all the basic application programs that I want into my Elf! I need to install a Chinese OS on top of the English OS. I can do that on all previous phones but on Elf, it leaves hardly any memory left. Others has 44Meg minimum for storage and Elf has only 33Meg. I replace the SD with 2G with it does not help my program storage space. I am willing to get rid the TouchFlo for memory if someone can tell me how.

40. Had it for 3 days now and have to say the design looks even better than the pics and videos on the net and its even slimmer than I thought it would be.:D

Touchflo is nice but I've noticed that I have to apply a little force for it to pop up, and turn etc which I'm a little disappointed about. If only they had made the screen more sensitive. Also the screen seems a little hard to use with the stylus. Doesn't feel right somehow. It feels like I'm poking my stylus on my window or something!:confused:

I'm getting rid of my MDA Compact 3 for this and I shall miss it, especially the GPS which the Touch doesn't have but that would be asking for too much from a phone of that size :o

The best thing about it is the size and finally I really feel comfortable holding a PDA phone to my ear! He the hot bashtar.

My first WINCE phone. The last time i used WINCE was back in the day of the HP jordana - many moons ago. Switched from a looonggg time Nokia user (s60 is nice, but got sick of the lack of software and no touchscrren) to a Palm Treo 680 for about 2 weeks before I stomped the thing to death, worse god damn phone i've ever bought - I hope Palm die a slow horrid death... to the Touch - awesome phone, still getting use to windows mobile but loving it so far - NO crashes at all 0 just bought some sony bluetooth headphones - awesome. People love it. Bluetooth GPS works great, best phone i've ever bought - but the day they come out with a Touch that has GPS built in and a 3+mpx camera I will upgrade... oh, BTW - the size and weight of the Touch makes it an awesome eBook reader! Thats one thing the iphone can't do...

Very happy, I absolutely ADORE the form factor and have been known to just pick it up and stare at it for up to 5 minutes at a time, occasionally turning it on and just using my fingers to spin the cube around!

CONS... inexcusably slow for a modern WM device (even OC'd and with a smaller pagepool), low memory, HTC mediahub isn't fully customisable, no GPS. That said, willing to live with this just for the form factor alone!

I have my HTC Touch for 3 days.

Nice device, but storage is too small.
Also, I am having problems with syncing with my Calendar (Outlook 2007). The device stays forever in the Synchronizing status and when I unplug the USB cable, the device becomes so slow a soft reset is required. After the soft reset it gets stuck on the third splash screen (the green one with the Windows Mobile logo) and I have to perform a hard reset.

I believe after I get this worked around I will be a happy owner of an HTC Touch :-)

Got my Touch for one month now.
After some start up issues (out of memory)
I did a hard reset to start all over.
And after solving my problem (try reading the manual first you M.r.n) it flies.

* Got GPRS monitor installed
(which I should have done before using GPRS, could have saved myself 397 Euro
* Installed BS Battery status
(run at 260MHz now)
* Installed Total Commander
(need it to edit registry files)
* Changed the weather file so I can receive my hometown weather
(Eindhoven)
* Changed the theme to allblack
(gives the Touch an ever cooler look)
* Installed MyMobile
(let's me use my Touch via my Desktop...which is very very cool)
* Installed transcriber
(for handwriting-recognition, works great)


So far so good...
Until I went over to the Microsof site to install Microsoft Money, which turned out to be a trial version (Duhh...). So I did an uninstall right away, but (what a surprise) can't get rid of the icons for this piece of stupid M.S. software.

Anyone knows how to get rid of unused icons ?
