Now i have finally got a working ATHENA (after over a month!)

I realise that as a phone its pretty Enormous to put it mildly.

Can someone recommend me a bluetooth headset that works well with it, i was thinking of the LG Style i but it is not on sale in the uk (like a mini phone)

cheers

If you actually search this forum and other forums (eg the General forum) you will find numerous reviews / comparisons of bluetooth headsets. Please don't lets start yet another thread on the same thing.

For what it's worth (and as I've made clear in other threads in answer to similar questions) I favour the Jabra BT8010.

Highly recommended, Jabra BT8010 (combined with Jetware for Caller ID that can show names instead of number). The second choice would be i.Tech Clip D.

I have the 8010, but do like the look of the Style-i from LG - and the fact it has keys to dial with. The problem with the 8010 is that if it isn't a number you've already entered into its phone book, you can't dial the number. No surprise there and still more useful than most other headsets, which is why I bought it together with the vibrate and bt stereo. But I would like to limit how often I bring the phone out of my pocket - particularly at weekends or when walking about.

The only thing is, other than ordering through the US, I can't find anywhere that stocks the Style-i.

May be you can try to use voice dial for dialing numbers.

My Style-I will be going on eBay as soon as my Jawbone arrives.... I'll post a note here to say it's available.

Welcome to Jawbone. I hope you ordered the jabra eargel (discussed already in the athena forum) so you can have a perfect fit. You may need to twist the earloop a bit as "all ears are not equal". And remember to let it rest on your JAW and not on your CHEEK :D :D

BlueAnt V12 -- vibrate is really helpful, shows number received on lcd (no names though), great range. plus a nice price for the feature set...
