whats exactly the differences between the two hard-spl for our trinity??

Olipro's HardSPL for Trinity features:


-SuperCID
-no file signing required
-no password required to authenticate with bootloader
-bad NAND can be recovered with "task 2a"
-bad NAND can be recovered by flashing an OS.nb
-SPL protected from all HTC retail SPLs being flashed by accident (to bypass, use SSPL)
-version displays 1.20.Olipro


Des Crashproof SPL for Trinity features:


-SuperCID
-no file signing required
-version displays 9.99.CP

POF- not sure if you'd like to give it, but do you have an opinion on which is better/more reliable at this point? I've seen so many posts going back and forth with apparently some whitescreen trouble with Olipro's (although i've had no trouble with it)

also, just curious why Des' version isn't sticky on this forum, while olipro's is... since hard-spl is pretty essential for upgrading

Olipro's is more "fool proof" because it doesn't allow itself to be overwritten, but both should serve for the same purpose if you know what you're doing.

Yes, AFAIK Olipro is working on a new version which should fix that bug.
