Download and install Windows Mobile 6

I have a Softbank (HTC Tytn) with Windows mobile 5 in Japonese.
But I'd like to upgrade this OS to Windows mobile 6 in English.
Where can I download the Windows mobile 6? And how can I install this OS?

Please read, then post in the appropriate section. Did I mention to read first?

Anyhow, start here (http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=296722). (these instructions will allow you to install Windows Mobile 6 on your device)

Then go here (http://forum.xda-developers.com/forumdisplay.php?f=355) to learn about all the different versions of Windows Mobile 6.

IMPORTANT: DON'T ASK WHICH VERSION IS THE BEST. READ WHAT OTHERS HAVE SAID ABOUT THEM IN THEIR RESPECTIVE THREADS AND DECIDE FOR YOURSELF. ;)

Be sure to read all you can in the Hermes forums so that you don't accidently "brick" or destroy your phone. The processes to upgrade are quite easy, but you must follow all the instructions given very carefully.

Check out the WIKI (http://wiki.xda-developers.com/index.php?pagename=HTC_Hermes)too. It has a wealth of info for you and your device.

and then read some more. TyTn's are not cheap, if you don't want to have to shell out big bucks for a new one, or for a repair by HTC make sure you've read most of the threads on here about upgrading. Don't use the built in search, it's not very good, use a google search with "site:xda-developers.com".

Also, mrvanx's guides (google for mrvanx, first result) are good for newbies (it's what I used for my first flash) and takes you through HardSPL install (to act as insurance against bad flashes bricking your device).

Finally, if you don't want to bother reading then my only advice is to not risk upgrading and enjoy being stuck with a WM5 Japanese device ;)
