T-Mobile Wing Help

I just bought a t-mobile wing last week and it runs kinda of slow. Is there anyway I can overclock this baby safely so its a little faster or so w/e to make it faster. Also I installed slide2unlock and want to know if anyone here knows how to edit the idle time. It turns on to fast and it goes on when im making a phone call. I installed the new updates but b/c its WM6 maybe thats causing something. Anyway any help is greatly appreciated. Thanks so much.

i also have the t-mobile wing and found it a little slow . i recomend that you download the battery status cab and overclok your wing. i have mines overclocked to 286 and it works fine now. but for you i would start at 247 first to make sure it runs smooth then if you want after that you can raise it to a higher one.

a it will overclock your phone just start it up and go to omap and select what speed you want its also a today screen plugin ittl display the battery life and cpuspeed on the today screen

I also recommend SKTools: www.s-k-tools.com this one is very nice to optimize your pda (you can optimize it for perfomance,memory or stability.It will also clean the registry,temporary files etc... and the last one that I also recommend you is: Tweaks2k2 http://www.tweaks2k2.com/.

They are all really cool,Pocket Hack Master will tell you the best speed for your device,it´ll run a test and it´ll give you different speeds supported by the processor,model etc...
SKTools and Tweaks2k2 are my favorite ones,up to now I always delete what SKTools tells me to and I had never any issue.

this may be a stupid question but im new to this. i just got my wing today and i downloaded the battery status cab. how exactly do i install it onto my phone??? in 'smartphones for dummy's' terms please..lmao

ok i got the cab file on my phone but when i open it its just some stupid html document and there is NO actual program file to install....... why wont this work it is taking me to the point where i want to take my wing and throw it out the damn window. any help would be appreciated thank you

First, just want to thank all of you smart guys for providing us with such awesome apps and programs for our phones, I truly appreciate the generocity of those that wish to share their knowledge and help others. That said, I installed this program and it rocks! Before I would have small hiccups while playing nester, now, it's as smooth as butter. All my other apps open up faster than normal. My brother (sitting next to me as I type this) has the Wing as well and we would open the same programs at the same time (mine OCd and his not) and mine was working much much smoother. Thanks!
