Need Help Downgrading Wizard

Hey I got my friend's MDA a couple of months and before he gave it to me he unlocked and had just put Faria's WM6 ROM on it. Now the problem is, I'm not sure if it's because I have Cingular/AT&T but the phone doesn't alert me to missed calls and voicemails so I want to downgrade it to WM5 and see if that fixes the problem.

Any help would be appreciated.

Oh not sure if this is necessary but my current info is
ROM version: 2.18.0.0
Radio Version: 02.69.11
Protocol Version: 4.1.13.30
ExtROM Version: faria V5.0

not a definitive answer, but sounds like you have the same problem that a lot of people are having...it seems that those who are on cingular/at&t have problems with radio roms other than 2.19.11. before downgrading, try flashing the radio rom and see if it helps out.

Hey man, thanks for the help. For some reason the program kept getting shut off by Vista, but I downloaded Active Sync to my friend's computer and it flashed, no problem. Hopefully it works.

Side question, since I have IPL/SPL 3.08 does that necessarily mean that I have a G3 phone and can use any G3 ROM? I'm not sure and I don't want to unintentionally brick my phone.

The exe (RUU) does not work on vista but i have seen a fix for it somewhere.

As long as you read the instructions first you are ok to flash a rom, A G3 phone is more, lets say flash friendly then the g4. G4 you may not be able to cid unlock or can't flash the extended rom.
