Hello,
I have a 3.5mm female to 2.5mm male adapter with a built in mic and (mute?) button. I am trying to use this to adapt a fm transmitter to work with my t-mobile mda. The weird thing is that the microphone works if I make an outgoing call, but it doesn't seem to work if I accept an incoming call. I have tried several adapters, and an adapter with 3 rings didn't seem to work.
Can someone suggest a different adapter for me to use?
How many rings would work best?
Is there a hardware or software work-around that will allow the mic to work on incoming calls?
Thanks for any help!
