Hw6915 & Gprs Settings For Orange Uk

Hi all.

I have the HP HW6915. I want to use it on my ORANGE UK Contract. Phone is fine but cannot connect to internet using GPRS.

I Have contacted ORANGE UK but no help from them as they don't sell this PDA/Phone.

Has anyone any ideas please.

Orange do not care as they do not supply the iPaq - they just want us to use the SPVs.

To get Orange (UK) GPRS to work on your iPaq 6915 try this
- Set the modem = Cellular Line (GPRS)
- Access Point Name = orangeinternet
- username, password & domain = blank
- server assigned IP address

You'll probably find that MMS wont work by default either. If so use these
- Server name = Orange mms
- Gateway = 192.168.224.10
- Port no = 8080
- Server address = http://mms.orange.co.uk
- Connect via = ORANGE MMS
- WAP Version = 2.0 (set this first as it wipes all the settings above!)

The ORANGE MMS connection should be
- modem = Cellular Line (GPRS)
- Access Point Name = orangemms
- username = Orange
- password = Multimedia
