Read the stickies, read the wiki, and use the search function.

Here is a good place to start
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=298613
and then read about each different ROM and Kitchen, and before you even think about flashing read, read, read, and then read some more. Or you can just pick a rom, and turn that beautiful new phone into a shiny little brick that you can use to stop your bedroom door from closing....
If you were expecting it to be easy... Sorry!
No one will spoon feed you here.... no one wants to be responsible for you bricking your phone...

There will not be an official rom from any providers for the Wizard device.
If you take the time to read the sticky that badbert pointed you to, it has all the steps on how to do this. Its not rocket science, and as long as you follow all the directions you will be on your way to upgrading to WM6. But the point that was being made is, you need to read and understand what you are doing, or you have the potential to brick your phone.

Yep, right now. Don't wait. Go grab a ROM and flash away. Make sure you don't read how to do it, either. I mean, why take advantage of all of the knowledge on this forum?

Look, you need to read the entire how to flash sticky, then spend a few days reading the posts on this board. We're not going to tell you "Hey, use this one!"

alright i see i have one last questiob as i was reading the how to flash thred i found the last step confusing i'll quote
G3.8 You're reade to flash the AKU2, AKU3, WM6 rom of you're choise! It wasn't that hard, was it? If you still got an older OS version after flashing then you're not CID-unlocked! Go back to start!
its says i have a choice of AKU2, AKU3 and WM6 whats that mean that after i flash i will have WM6

AKU's are like Service Packs for Windows XP. If you want WM6, then you will flash one of the many WM6 roms. Just read the first post of each rom thread to see what the roms have in them to try to decide what you think will be what works for you. Then when you choose one, start reading the rest of the thread to see what issues / problems that rom might have. Some rom cooks may even try to update the first few posts with fixes / patches / cabs for you to use to fix the rom (or make the rom work better).
But take your time. There is no rush on upgrading. Don't ruin your new phone...

because i dont think anyone here is cooking windows mobile 5 roms for a Wizard... flash a term used when you are installing a ROM image to your phone. trust me, if you read enough you will know which roms are WM6... if you dont know then chances are you didnt read enough. i swear we have answered this question for you already
since u say your phone is a G3 read THIS (http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=285435) thread!

By no means do I mean to be rude. And I hesitate to dissuade anyone from having the fun of upgrading their device. But, from your posts, it sounds like you're not only unfamiliar with these types of devices, but possibly with anything technical in general.
I would recommend that you may try using your current phone software for a month and see if you even need to upgrade to WM6. Unless there are specific reasons you will need WM6, you may want to play it safe with your current WM5.
Just a thought, take it how you will. :)

I have a G3 8125 as well, flashing is pretty easy if you know what you're doing [I read up on tutorials for a day or two beforehand just to double-check.]
Like everyone's suggested, start off with this:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=298613
If you just got your phone, chances are it's not CID-unlocked yet, so be sure to follow the instructions and CID-unlock it (you only need to do this once). Just follow the steps as listed and you shouldn't have any problem (I sure didn't). If you have trouble deciding which ROM to use my personal suggestion is mfrazzz's XDA Mobile 6 R2a (you can get it here http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=315178)
Again, that's my personal suggestion - it works great on my G3 8125 device, and is SO much better than WM5 (I see absolutely no point into keeping WM5, really).
One more word of note, make sure that when you do all this, do it in WINDOWS XP, NOT Vista. I tried it first with Vista and was having major issues, so stay away from that. Good luck.
